Q: I have a garage door that when i press the portable remote or the switch on the wall, it opens about 2 inches then stops. When i hold the switch on the wall i can open the garage door completely. The door closes just fine. I tried unplugging the unit for 10 minutes, but that didn't work. I tried cleaning the sensors, but that didn't work. Any ideas?
if you're sensors were out of line it would be just the opposite, the door would not close unless you were physically there pushing the button, telling the opener that there is nothing there to damage it that the sensor is reporting stop in error. Two things that might be happening is that your open limit setting might have gotten changed, but if it is opening to the correct limit when you hold the switch then that's not it. You will probably have to increase the UP force that the opener uses when raising the door. You will adjust your force by either turning a setting screw or by changing the program with the control buttons on the opener. I don't know how old your door is, but also check to make sure there is not a broken spring. A spring will also weaken with age resulting in more force needed to raise the door. Lube up your spring with wd40, and spray the rollers. Try raising your door half way up and have someone release the opener from it. If it is heavy and hard for you to lift, call a door company and have them re tension your spring. When I tension springs on a double wide door you would be able to raise and lower it with only a couple of fingers
Q: With my car inside.I heard a crash earlier and I went outside. The latch that connects to the automatic part pully thing (tech term) was not connecting, the latch had come out, but I managed to get it back in.Now the cables on one side of the door are loose and not taut.It wont budge. What do I do with the cables?
The main helper spring broke. The door itself without the spring is quite heavy. Without the spring help, the opener will never lift it. Your only option is to un-hook from the operator and ask a friend to help You lift it and prop it up with a VERY STURDY PROP... a 2x4 will work. Call a garage door service company in Your area. This is a DANGEROUS situation. Don't try it alone. It will come down with major force. I've heard of people getting their feet broken!!
Q: Own access control attendance automatic door installation and maintenance, I know the office is the largest potential customers, to send business cards feasible, do not advise
There are difficulties, you made a mistake, that is, the installation of automatic doors by the contractor to choose the decoration, and then for the customer selection, and now you go to the office building business card can only engage in after-sales maintenance, but now after-sales maintenance Everyone knows that is a piece of fat, the manufacturers are caught very firmly, more difficult to have a breakthrough, it is best to engage in relations with the contractor, before and after the package down.
Q: Fingerprint access control how to control the electric door
To the fingerprint access control of an electric door signal.
Q: Automatic door control system action is as follows: people close to the automatic door, the sensor 00000 is ON, 01000 drive motor high-speed door, hit the door switch 00001, into a low-speed open the door. When the door limit switch 00002 is reached, the motor stops and starts to delay. If the sensor is detected in 0.5s no one, 01001 start motor high speed closed. Hit the door when the slowdown switch 00003, to low speed closed, hit the door limit switch 00004 when the motor stops. In the closed period if the sensor detects someone, stop closing, T1 delay 0.5s automatically converted to high-speed open the door. Programming implementation (requirements: write I / O allocation table, flow chart).
hardware design ???? According to the previous study, and then according to the instructions in the figure, the students can draw their own input and output port allocation,
Q: In the cartoon movie "over the hedge" the poofy cat had a collar the unlocked the pet door. Only opened with the collar. Do such doors & collars exist. If so what are they called and whhere can I get one. Please and thank you.
Never heard of any such thing existing, otherwise i would most likely love to own one. If it does happen to exist, Im guessing it will cost quite a lot of money!
Q: Like in Shopko the doors that swing out how do they work. How do they swing out automatically?
Generally speaking there are three components. I don't know how good you are with computers and electronics so I'll try to keep it simple. 1. A sensor- The sensor is what looks out to make sure someone is there that needs the door to open for them. Sensors come in many forms. It could send out sound waves to see if anybody is near by. There could be an LED that sends out a light to a reciever and if the receiver doesn't receive the light it could mean somebody is walking by. And there are many more. 2. The second component is the motor. Once the sensor realizes that door needs to be opened the computer will tell the motor to operate and open door. The motor does all the mechanical work. 3. The computer is the third component. It does all the smart work. Think of the computer as the line of communication betweent the motor that closes and opens the door and the sensor that detects people. The only thing a sensor does is put a voltage depending on what it senses. The computer has to read those voltages and decide what is happening.
Q: My mom's automatic garage door was fine for years, then started slamming down with enough force to cause fatal injuries. The owner of the home is my brother and he has his own key but doesn't live here. He claims the adjustments (which need a flathead screwdriver to adjust) simply moved on their own causing the thing to damage the car and almost injure us...can this happen? It never did before. Help.
I'd suspect that the springs that support/counterweight the door have weakened with age. The opener doesn't have much to do with how hard the door comes down. You can set how much force is applied before the door reverses but even the most powerful garage door opener doesn't really apply lethal force. Try disconnecting the door from the opener. It has a release to allow opening the door in the event of a power failure. It should be possible to open the door with your fingertips if the springs are OK.
Q: Our company's automatic door installed for five years, since the installation of the master installed, has been no one thought to tune it, yesterday the company said to be transferred into a single open, bad, this tune
If you need to adjust the words, is the need to pay the money
Q: My world life automatic automatic door how to do
In front of the door pressure plate began to step on the door opened
