- Q: I have a garage door that when i press the portable remote or the switch on the wall, it opens about 2 inches then stops. When i hold the switch on the wall i can open the garage door completely. The door closes just fine. I tried unplugging the unit for 10 minutes, but that didn't work. I tried cleaning the sensors, but that didn't work. Any ideas?

- Q: I have a Honda odyssey 2004 and lately I have been having problems with the back doors sliding. Sometimes when I try to close the doors with the remote like I always do, one of the back doors will not slide on its own. Do you know why that maybe happening? I thought maybe when I took it to get an oil change at sears that they mistreated the car. It wasn't doing that before then. Yea I try to close it with the remote and it gets stuck, and then it doesn't close unless I try a couple of times or pushing it manually. Its annoy because if you close the door manually then you can't lock it with the remote. Any thoughts on why its doing that?
- Its nothing they did during an oil change. These auto doors are known for problems, even Chrysler Town and Country's and Ford vans with auto doors. Check the track to see if something is in its path. Could even be the motor or cable binding.

- Q: With 3 dogs, it would be wonderful to have a dog door, so that they can go outside in the yard when they need/want to go. But, with 2 cats as well, a dog door isn't really safe or realistic.I looked into it a bit and read about the Automatic Dog door that has 'remotes' and only those with it on their collar, and get through the dog door.....this would be fantastic! (If it actually works!)But, I have read a lot of bad reviews on these products...and don't want to waste a few hundred dollars, cut a hole in my door, and then discover that it doesn't work.Does any one have any experience with these?
