- Q: i have a 2005 malibu classic.when put in gear the doors lock automatic,but they dint.same as when cut off?
- well like the other guy said its hard to under stand the question however most cars now days lock the doors when the drive or reverse gear is engaged or at 5 mph and above the doors usually unlock when you put the car in park some dont sometimes you have to unlock the doors with a switch. You should call the dealership to find out they can tell you how it should work.
- Q: With 3 dogs, it would be wonderful to have a dog door, so that they can go outside in the yard when they need/want to go. But, with 2 cats as well, a dog door isn't really safe or realistic.I looked into it a bit and read about the Automatic Dog door that has 'remotes' and only those with it on their collar, and get through the dog door.....this would be fantastic! (If it actually works!)But, I have read a lot of bad reviews on these products...and don't want to waste a few hundred dollars, cut a hole in my door, and then discover that it doesn't work.Does any one have any experience with these? - I had a hybrid once that decided she could eat her own dog door inside one day. It meant the cat also got out. I decided to try the dog door with the magnet, but the cat quickly learned she can paw at it hard enough and open it. Then I tried the one with the key. It worked pretty well until she decided it didn't unlock fast enough (sometimes her fur would hide the key, I guess, and it frustrated her). You can also get locking dog doors so that your dogs can use it only when you're watching or during times that the cats are up, if you'd like.

- Can not be set, no electricity automatic door can not move, and only manually opened
- Q: I've followed the instructions in the owners manual where it says to have your car ignition in the on position, then within ten seconds shift to park and press/hold the door luck button for at least 5 seconds. It says that when the function has been set, the doors will unlock & lock. I've tried this multiple times (both with the car engine on & off, with the doors locked & unlocked), but nothing seems to work. I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has run into the same problem and if so, how did you fix it?
- if you cant do it how the owners manual says, the dealership can do it with their laptop. they will probably charge you for it...1/2 hour?? but if it bothers you that much, they can do it.
