Q: I got my automatic garage door open and drove my car in and when I tried to close it I get no power. A light comes on but it doesn't operate. Do I need a new motor or what is wrong?
Lots of things could be wrong #1 check the battery in the remote in your car #2 check the settings switch on the opener, it has a sensitivity setting #3 Check the sensors for two things First see if they are blocked. Secondly, as the year progresses, the angle of the sun changes and when direct sunlight at a certain time of the day hits the sensor, it will not open or close as it gets canceled out from the light. I had a customer one time that had this happen and it took us 2 hours to figure out that was what it was. I ended up moving the sensor up higher so the ledge of the roof would block the sun from the sensor, although that is actually a code violation as it has to be low enough so a child cannot be crushed by the door
Q: The recent incidents involving severe fires on TX4s raise questions about automatic door-locking on London black cabs. If I understand correctly, the doors automatically lock when the driver uses the accelerator and unlock when the brake is applied. Since unlocking the doors requires action by the driver, doesn't this put the passenger at risk in such emergencies ? I know that the The recent incidents involving severe fires on TX4s raises questions about automatic door-locking on London black cabs. If I understand correctly, the doors automatically lock when the driver uses the accelerator and unlock when the brake is applied. I know that TX4s have been taken out of service but the dangers of automatic door-locking still apply.
You can always walk, get the tube, cycle, drive or get a bus
Q: I just bought this car. When I turn off the engine and remove the key, the doors automatically lock after 60-90 seconds and the car alarm sets. I don't want the doors to automatically lock when I leave the car. How can turn off this feature?
The feature is integrated into your security system and will be difficult to bypass... however you could disable the door of your choice by pulling the door panel and disconnecting the automatic lock connection... the other 3 will work and you won't lock yourself out anymore..
Q: How does the auto-sensing door plan
Do you want to know what software to paint, or would like to know the picture of the automatic door plan?
Q: Why does the automatic door adopt a parallelogram?
The quadrilateral does not have stability. In contrast to the triangle, the triangle has a stability, with the triangle to do automatic doors, the door can not move, and can not open or not off.
Q: Specifically can say that how to make outside the light signal into a control signal, how to achieve control? Need a single chip?
A launch tube, a receiving tube, side by side. When the person approaches, the emitted infrared rays are reflected and received by the receiving tube. Resulting in the receiver tube to generate a signal, through the component processing on the line. Do not need to use single-chip.
Q: Can the fire door be replaced by an electric door?
The fire access door must be ready to be pushed at any time to be pushed outside. So, as long as you can always open, set the automatic door is possible. But turn the door, the shutter door is not enough, be sure to set the door or shutter doors, only in the side next to set out to open the door.
Q: ...This door is at the entry to our building. The door closer keeps the door open wide and it closes very, very very slowly.
u could get a new one or if it is in a complex (like a hotel) cant remember the name of it right now....acadentaly break the machine that closes the door and then complain to them to get a new one......or just complain that it doesnt realy work during winter....... bably shouldnt do the breaking one...
Q: what is the best automatic garage door opener?
I agree with rizonout,, I myself have never liked screwdrive operators, over time the bushing wear out, and they can make the screaming from hell sound in your garage, from the screw rubbing against the aluminum rail. They are also messy from dripping on your cars. I also like the Liftmaster Brand operator, with the 1 piece rails. They have the feature also of if your garage door is open at night and you walk into your garage and break the beam for the safety eyes, it will turn on your lights on the operator great for not walking into a dark garage, also they do design the operator with the nylon gears in them so if something goes out of adjustment with the door or operator, ( cause we all know not everybody services their doors like they are supposed to) they are the cheapest thing to replace in the operator. Springs need to be serviced and lubed, doors need to be properly balanced, rollers need to be checked and lubed. As for 1/2 or 3/4, just get the 1/2hp operator, it is more than enough for operating a 20 x 8 door as long as it is balanced right.. Belts are a nice and quiet running , but chains can be also....
Q: please answer as soon as it's possible, thx.
under the point 3.4 others there are some functions listed :) Mostly it is a moving sensor who catches a signal to open and close the door :P
