- Since there's also peroxide (a form of bleach) in the hair dye...putting more bleach won't improve your vanity stain.....Try a paste with baking soda and water, putting a damp (old) towel over the stain for 24 hours......keep dampening the towel or cover it with plastic wrap to prevent it drying out!....Sometimes HAIR turns green when too much color is too different from the last i.e. brown to blonde......which makes the hair green (such as someone who dyes their hair blonde & then goes into a swimming pool....then it turns a nasty green color being in a chlorinated pool)!
- Q: I just primed my laminate bathroom vanity with Zinsser Bondz. Do I need to sand prior to applying my finish coats of paint? The back of the can says dries in 2 hours and can be lightly sanded/and or top coated after 2 hours. This is confusing! Lightly sand or not? Thanks in advance for any help!
- It means that if you are satisfied with the smoothness of the primer coat then you can apply your finish coat. If it feels rough to you then it is okay to lightly sand it, wipe it clean and then apply your top coat. Pretty straight forward directions.

- Q: I bought a vanity made by American Standard. It has a wood-like paper applied on it, with some material (glaze or varnish etc). Can I use such paper material on the kitchen cabinets? Does it last? Where do they sell wood paper? The stain seems to be fully absorbed by the wood so it is not coming off. I dont like to paint the cabinets. - if the sides of the cabinets are melamine then no you cannot buy that paper and apply it yourself. it is done in the manufacturing process and applied to cheaper substrates to give the look of real wood sorry, more affordable substrates is what I meant it can be bought as full sheet like plywood is available but may be too thick to apply to the side of a cabinet without the raw edges being exposed I suppose you could look for a wood grain wallpaper, someone somewhere probably makes it, but I am not sure if that would hold up well on cabinets especially when steam is coming up from a pot on the stove

- If ply wood will satisfy you, cut the door out of two side good birch plywood. If you are going to use dimensional lumber, use what you want, but don't use Bass wood or poplar or pine. I hope you know what you are doing.
