- Q: we got a snowmobile for Christmas, and need a helmet with a face shield. i found a good one without a face shield for around 60$, but all of the ones with face shields are like 200-800$ and i cant find one cheaper! it has to be DOT approved and all that so its safe. and a second option would be, is there a way to get the one without the face shield and buy a face shield for it? or wear goggles - would that keep the snow from hitting my face? thanks in advance!

- Hi There, There is an adjustment on the thermostat that controls how often it cycles on and off. This is called heat anticipator. The link below tells how to adjust this setting. If this does not help the thermostat might need to be replaced. Electric heaters cost much more to run than a gas heater. A 1500 watt heater would cost about $2.88 cents per day ( figuring $.08 per kw ). If you run two the cost would be about $5.76 per day. Hope this helps, Al

- CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE AN IDIOT! Let me explain the ways first. First off, you /cannot/ sterilize a safety pin. There are nooks and crannies in them that even boiling water cannot get to. Second, there are bacteria that can survive in temperatures higher than boiling temp. Second, safety pins are coated in nickel to make them shiny. Nickel can turn your skin green, and you may end up having an allergic reaction to the nickel. Third, you didn't pierce yourself so much as simply tore your skin apart, like driving a knitting needle through a t shirt. Furthermore, piercing guns are cattle markers. Literally, they are used for tagging cattle. The also do not pierce you, the shoot a dull piece of crap metal through you, much like getting shot by an actual gun. Take that crap out of your ear, stop using peroxide on it. Maybe you should do some actual research before you decide that you know things and end up doing stupid things, like shoving a safety pin through your ear and using peroxide on a puncture wound. But, since you've already decided to be an idiot, then proclaim it to the world, you should take the nickel crap out of your ear and either put whatever you're going to be using for jewelry in, or take the nickel crap out of your ear, let it heal up, and get it professionally done. - You killed my two favorite activies while running. However, you could take a walking buddy - a friend, significant other, dog. Then you have someone to talk to instead of yourself. Try taking new routes. Sure its probably your neighborhood or something else you are familiar with, but take different routes to see different things and pass different people. Really observe the world around you. If you walk on the treadmil, you can read a book or magazine. Also, you could watch TV (what people do in the gym) or your favorite movie. All my other ideas seem to be thinking ones. I would suggest do nothing but relax, clear your head - its your time for you. But since you seem to be getting bored with walking, this may not be helpful
