2.Description

Aluminium foil (or aluminum foil) is aluminium prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mils) are also commonly used.In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mils) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mils). Thefoil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimeslaminated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminium foil supplantedtin foil in the mid 20th century.

3.Physical

Aluminium is a relatively soft, durable, lightweight, ductile and malleable metal with appearance ranging from silvery to dull gray, depending on the surface roughness. It is nonmagnetic and does not easily ignite. A fresh film of aluminium serves as a good reflector (approximately 92%) of visible light and an excellent reflector (as much as 98%) of medium and far infrared radiation. The yield strength of pure aluminium is 7–11 MPa, while aluminium alloys have yield strengths ranging from 200 MPa to 600 MPa.Aluminium has about one-third the density and stiffness of steel. It is easily machined, cast, drawn and extruded.

Aluminium atoms are arranged in a face-centered cubic (fcc) structure. Aluminium has a stacking-fault energy of approximately 200 mJ/m2.

Q: O.kfor my project i am making a giant tube of toothpaste but i dont know what to make it out ofDoes any one have any ideas of what type of material i can use
Yep, sounds like you do have floatersThis could be for many different reasons you may not be getting enough sleep you could be anemic you may have some other type of vitamin/ mineral deficiency I suggest seeing your GP and telling them you have floatersAnd getting 8 hours sleep a night and eating lots of fresh fruit and vegI don't think your optician can do anything about them thoughGood luck!
Q: for a science project
1Place hot food in an insulated bag or carrier2Wrap hot food containers in several layers of aluminum foil, then in a blanket if you do not have an insulated bag- Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Boxes are the first choice for the food industry and why Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) Boxes are the no.1 choice for any reusable application----- I hope this is helpful.
Q: So if you get hit with a taser i was wondering if you could transfer the electrons by touching someone else or something?
It's a flat cost regulated by using the town, I think it is presently $35 however probably a bit bit more nowSomeone picked up at JFK is charged the identical cost to at any place in long island.
Q: Is aluminum foil a heat conducting material or an insulating material?
Aluminum foil is made of aluminum, the thermal conductivity of aluminum is very high, about 200 or so, it is a better thermal conductive material
Q: The Muhibbah Company is a manufacturer of cylindracal aluminium tins. The manager plans to reduce the cost of production. The production cost is proportional to the area of the aluminium sheet used. The volume that eachtin can hold is 1000cm cube(1 litre)1.Determine the value of h,r and hence calculate the ratio h/r when the total surface area of each tin is minimum.here,h cm denotes the height and r cm the radius of the tin.2.The top and bottom pieces of the tin of height h cm are cut from square-shaped aluminium sheets.determine the value for r,h and hence calculate the ratio h/r so that the total area of the aluminium sheets used for making the tin is minimum.lt;refer to your own diagramgt;3.investigate cases where the top and bottom surfaces are cut from:i)equilateral triangleii)regular hexagonFind the ratio of h/r for each case.
Sean, I would not be concerned about the age of the boat, as long as it was in good shapeThe engine and trolling motor will wear out at some point, but normally the guys who have boats like this don't use them that much, as far as hours are concerned, so they last a long, long time when properly cared forIf the boat and trailer are in good shape, the motor and the engine will probably be OK as well Fair offer? I have no idea for your part of the worldAsk what the guy wants for it, and see if you can talk him down a little, as that is what most people expect to happenIf you are happy with the price, buy itYou have to make the call as to whether the price meets your expectationsBTW, if you are going to fish with it, I highly recommend that you get a fish finder/depth finderThis is a valuable tool for fishingRegards, Dan
Q: A1st energy level B2nd energy level C3rd energy level D4th energy level
Electron shells or energy level of atoms can hold different number of electrons 1st holds 2, 2nd holds 8 and the 3rd also holds 8Aluminium has 13 electrons (look at periodic table), so the first 2 shells is filled up whilst 3 more occupy the 3rd energy levelSo it will go 2,8,3So the second energy level will me highest occupied with 8 electrons.
Q: I have a 7 foot diameter form, of conical shape, made of wood and will eventually top with cementThis will be the mold for which I will apply fiberglass meshing and resinI will need to remove the dried fiberglass layer without it breaking/tearing from the mold beneath itI am thinking of using a thick layer of floor wax to coat the cement but if there is a better way, I need to knowThanks!
you may settle for e (the can charge on a million electron) -a million.6x10^-19 employing this you could say that the can charge of all the electrons is (5x10^20) x (a million.6x10^-19), as you have already stated this could be your can charge in Coulombs so all you may desire to ideal is the answer to the equation above with a C afterwards to indicate can chargedesire this explains, in case you may desire to anymore i'm chuffed to assist.
Q: can anyone tell me a menu to cook for my dog besides chicken or eggs.? tks?
don't worry about the paper!! I didn't know that pans should be lined until just recently I have always usedd some butter or margarine on paper towel and greased the cookie sheets and not used the parchment at allYou ccan spray the pan with pam if yu wish instead of buttering itI use the wrapper from the butter for the first couple of pans of cookiesOur great grandmothers did not have acccess to parchment and in fact paper was sometimes succh a rare item intheir houses that they used only enough to write notes to friends onNEVER for baking on!
Q: with bone
No, no longer criminal, except you're salaried exempt and don't fall under the extra time provisions of federal regulationit is not important how long the pay era is, OT must be paid on hours over 40 in a workweek.
