Aluminium foil acts as a total barrier to light and oxygen (which cause fats to oxidise or become rancid), odours and flavours, moistness, and germs, it is used broadly in food and pharmaceutical packaging. The purpose of aluminium is to make long-life packs (aseptic processing|aseptic packaging) for drinks and dairy goods, which allows storing without refrigeration. Aluminium foil containers and trays are used to bake pies and to pack takeaway meals, ready snacks and long life pet foods.
Aluminium foil is widely sold into the consumer market, often in rolls of 500 mm (20 in) width and several metres in length. It is used for wrapping food in order to preserve it, for example, when storing leftover food in a refrigerator (where it serves the additional purpose of preventing odour exchange), when taking sandwiches on a journey, or when selling some kinds of take-away or fast food. Tex-Mex restaurants in the United States, for example, typically provide take-away burritos wrapped in aluminium foil.
Aluminium foils thicker than 25 µm (1 mil) are impermeable to oxygen and water. Foils thinner than this become slightly permeable due to minute pinholes caused by the production process.
Aluminium foil has a shiny side and a matte side. The shiny side is produced when the aluminium is rolled during the final pass. It is difficult to produce rollers with a gap fine enough to cope with the foil gauge, therefore, for the final pass, two sheets are rolled at the same time, doubling the thickness of the gauge at entry to the rollers. When the sheets are later separated, the inside surface is dull, and the outside surface is shiny. This difference in the finish has led to the perception that favouring a side has an effect when cooking. While many believe that the different properties keep heat out when wrapped with the shiny finish facing out, and keep heat in with the shiny finish facing inwards, the actual difference is imperceptible without instrumentation. The reflectivity of bright aluminium foil is 88% while dull embossed foil is about 80%.

- Glocks are some of the most reliable firearms out thereBut it is a man made object so, though it is a quality firearm and machined well, defects will show up from time to timeI would contact Glock if you have anymore problemsNow, other then a screw up in the gun parts itself, these are some of the problems I have seen that may be leading to your problem: 1Limp wristing itI.E., you aren't holding the firearm in a firm grip with your wrist strong and straightYou may be giving too much slack in the gun, try holding it tighterIf you limp wrist with a smaller caliber like a 9mm (not saying its a bad caliber just smaller then most service weapons that I'm used to) it can cause some of the energy from the recoil spring to be dicipated and thus not go forward and seat correctly if you had a firmer gripPlease understand I have no idea how much experience you have shooting handguns and I mean no disrespect nor am I assuming your a novice2If the ammo you use is cheap that could very likely be the reasonCheap ammo is just that and to have only a couple of problems out of that many shots is actually pretty good, even with crap ammoTry different ammo for a while and see if it helps3The magazine could also be a problemIf it doesn't seat correctly or the springs are faulty somehow they could feed incorrectlyIf it isn't an actual factory magazine that may also be a problem4The slide springIf the slide spring is some how faulty it could do the same things as limp wristingTry a new slide spring and if that doesn't help then hey you atleast have a spare part to change out later in the futureIncidently, I have shot Glocks for ever and the slide has always automatically released, even with a brand new weaponIts just something that seems to happen with some peopleAnnoying though isn't it? Those are the main problems I have seen throughout my career.

- I would venture a guess that if you put a cookie sheet on a bottom rack the cooking process would take longerI do not recommend this on a regular basis, but I understand what you are saying when you want to catch the overspill, and I know what energy is needed to clean an oven when food spills or starts to smoke when bakingThings overflow sometimes during cooking onto the bottom of the ovenA temporary solution that I would suggest is to use a foil pan beneath the coil burner in other words the lowest point in your oven, at the bottom, with a small amount of water poured into it, while the enchilada pie is cookingSome coils can lift up or pull out, if you cannot adjust the coil then just try to place a piece of foil at the bottom of the oven to catch the spills.
- Q: for oven roasting
