The detailed information for the Al-Zinc coated steel coil is as following and it is mainly using for roofing producing, making ceiling grid and all kinds of roll forming structure.
Thickness: 0.20mm to 1.20mm
Width: 914mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1219mm and 1250mm, or slit narrow strip according to customer request, can be slit from 20mm to 610mm.

Main Feature of Al-Zinc coated steel coil
1.Corrosion resistance: It mainly depends on the aluminum protection. When the zinc being worn, the aluminum will form a dense layer of aluminum oxide, resist corrosion material to prevent further corrosion inside.
2. Heat resistance: Aluminum zinc alloy steel sheet has excellent heat resistance, can withstand high temperatures over 300 centigrade, and is similar with aluminized steel high temperature oxidation resistance. It often used in chimney pipes, ovens, fluorescent lighting device and the device cover.
3. Heat reflective: Galvanized steel plate heat-reflective high rate is twice as galvanized steel, often used to make insulation materials.
4. Economy: Because density of 55% AL-Zn is smaller than the density of Zn, so in the same weight and thickness of Galvanized zinc layer, aluminum-zinc steel plate is larger area more than 3% of galvanized steel sheet.

- Hi There, I am re-doing my kitchen and since my all stainless steel refrigerator will no longer be used to hold all my memos and pictures, I will hang a magnetic board in one area of my kitchen which will hold all the photos and memos that I had before and it would look very neat this way.. bably much neater than when they were on the fridge. Also, you can get a multiphoto frame for the photos and hang this on the wall. Then, the magnetic board can be just for notes and clips with invitations, etc. Hope this helps.

- I am going to take a slightly different approach. Once the structural steel is manufactured and then brought to the fabricator, not much heat is applied to the steel. It is normally punched, sheared or whatever buy the use of a lot of heat on it is normally not allowed due to the change in the properties of the steel. Once in the field to be erected, the cutting or welding on it are held to absolute minimums and most of the time not allowed at all.

- boy what a though question ! let me explain. when you rapidly cool a steel from high temperatures(depending on steel type) with water or oil or other means , it is called quenching. it depends on the steel type to say if it is better to quench it with oil or water but basically in water you will have a harder steel rather than oil. for some steels if you do this you will ruin it's properties ! you can't totally tell what kind of steel do you have until you get it analyzed with Quantometer analyzer with a pocket knife it is more like an estimation and it can't be trust able generally if you can scratch the steel with your knife it means it is not a hard steel and it might not be expensive.
