Q: I would like to know what GPRS stand for and how it works with our mobile phones.
General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a mobile data service available to users of GSM mobile phones. It is often described as 2.5G, that is, a technology between the second (2G) and third (3G) generations of mobile telephony. It provides moderate speed data transfer, by using unused TDMA channels in the GSM network. Originally there was some thought to extend GPRS to cover other standards, but instead those networks are being converted to use the GSM standard, so that is the only kind of network where GPRS is in use. GPRS is integrated into GSM standards releases starting with Release 97 and onwards. First it was standardized by ETSI but now that effort has been handed onto the 3GPP.
Q: I need a new phone, I can't find a NICE phone from t-mobile that also has great features.any suggestions?pros cons would help, a link or a picture of the phone,THANK YOU!!!
I have had the blackberry pearl for 8 month already and I like it a lot. The only thing that it does not have and I would really like that it did is video recorder other than that it is great. The reception is really good, the camera takes good pictures, and it does not have to be charged that often. I charge mine every other day so over all it is a great phone.
Q: i am planning to get a new phone, my plan that i have right now is unlimited internet so i want a phone that im able to go online also i text alot so im not sure which phone is better the following phones are the ones that seem interesting.-t-mobile dash-t-mobile wing-t-mobile sidekick lx-t-mobile blackberry curvewhat phone is better/good and which phone will you recommend?????

Q: I am going to Europe (I begin in London) and I would like to rent a mobile phone that I can take with me throughout my travels and return at my end point (London)
Oh ok you reposted, lol. This is the second time I've seen a question about renting mobile phones and I can honestly say I've never even heard of the concept. I don't think you can rent mobile phones, not in the UK anyway. The best thing for you to do is to buy a cheap prepay mobile phone for about ?30 in London, put ?10-20 credit on it and that should last you for your trip. You will be able to use it to roam throughout Europe, I recommend you buy one on the O2 network.
Q: Could you explain how the microwaves emitted from a mobile phone work, and effect our brain?
They don't. Independant testing in the UK showed that only if you kept the phone to your ear 24/7 would you get the slightest problem.
Q: i have a sidekick lx and I'm looking for something a littler more towards the iphone and voyager is their a list or does anyone know of any new phones t-mobile is coming out with in the distant or near future
there acctually coming out with some what an iphone in tmobile next year
Q: Hallo every one,Now i have two choices 1. Samsung F480 2. Nokia 5800 Express musicWhat is the best phone . I am unable to decide please help me. Thanks in advance
the nokia 5800 is the best out of these to hope i helped you out :)
Q: I want to get a new mobile - can i get them without a Sim card and have my one in my current phone put in it so i have the same phone number and the same cash on my pay as you go
You can, or you can get one with a SIM already installed and get the mobile phone provider to transfer your old number to the new SIM. This process takes a few days. The main difference is that using your old SIM will mean that you are still using the same network. If a different network is offering the phone and/or calls etc more cheaply, take the second option with a new SIM on the new network, and your old number transfers to the new network.
Q: Just buy a phone how to always appear black screen slow response how to do?
The machine can not detect the button automatically turn off the screen, that is, standby, when you need to use the phone a button will activate the power-saving circuit, and then the screen lit!
Q: i was convicted in court for using mobile phone while driving and had to pay a fine and 3 point in my driving licence in UK. i am going to run CRB check recently. do you think my CRB check will be clean?
some study say that utilising even a handsfree cellular has a detrimental effect on driving extra or less reminiscent of having below the impact of alcohol sufficient to be over the criminal shrink. From journey lots of the persons I see swerving between lanes and fairly driving like idiots are on the telephone. the subject with banning mobiles is which you will possibly have ban different issues which distract drivers like loud music, backseat drivers, crying toddlers etc etc. individually i think of it won't be banned yet all of us seen to be driving without due care and interest would desire to be fined very heavily.
