- I honestly don't know but I have done lots of internet searches and there are several site where you can buy the plans to do this for around $49 and in the blurb it says that the hardware is very cheap to buy too. These are american based sites saying that all the hardware is easily available so why not give it a try though it could all be a con - $49 dollars might be worth a try

Anyway, once you size your system, which will be large, figure on $7 / watt cost for a large system. This would be less if you live in a state with good incentives. So for example, if you needed a 00 kW system, the price would be $700,000. $00,000 of that money is to replace the inverters that break after 5 years, so you would be paying $600,000 up front.

- There's no standard nuclear reactor, but if we take a GW nuclear plant, it can generate about 8 terawatt-hours/year. A 200 watt solar panel can generate about kilowatt- hour/day, or 365 kwh/year, so that's about 2 million 200 watt solar panels. However, the power output from the nuclear plant is controllable by the operators, where solar panels only operate at full output for a few hours/day (on clear days - less if there's cloud). Therefore, to compare the two, you have to factor in some kind of energy storage or backup which will increase the cost of the solar installation (perhaps by a factor of two or more). Despite claims of solar being cheaper than coal now, when one compares apples to apples (i. e. total energy produced, and controllability) solar is still several times more expensive than coal, and about twice as expensive as nuclear even in the U. S. A gram of U-235 can make usable energy equal to three metric tons of coal. Controlling the measurements into the fuel cell is pretty easy just with a simple flow meter.

- Q: I got an 8v solar panel for a project today, the only problem is that it came without any wires attached to it. Now i don't know what type of wires i should use and if i should solder them on or if i should use epoxy instead. Can anybody help me out?
- Most epoxy is not very conductive. I would go with solder.
