- Q: Is schedule 40 plastic tubing sufficient for a 30' line from my water softener to my house?
- schedule 40 is the standard tubing used for all in-home plumbing purposes (unless its copper). I advise that you make sure you know exactly what you are doing before you start the project because otherwise you could have a mess on you hands if you do anything wrong...use schedule 40 and always use primer before glue on the pipes(better to be safe then sorry)
- Q: How are plastic tubes measured?
- Plastic tubes are typically measured by their outer diameter, which is the distance across the widest point of the tube.
- Q: My bridge had broken and I got someone to make me a new one, but when I reviewed it over, I noticed they moved the plastic tube to the bottom of the violin. Should I not worry about it or have someone fix it?
- Does the bridge have a protective cover glued to it under the string - it's called a parchment? Or does the bridge have an insert in it, usually made from Ebony? If either of these is a yes, you don't need the tube. If the answer was no to both, the tube should probably be there to protect the bridge from the string cutting in. Here is a pic of the two possibilities I've mentioned.
- Q: What is the PPR plastic pipe?
- PPR is the abbreviation of English random copolymer polypropylene (Polypropylene-Random). Commonly known as type three polypropylene.PPR pipe is galvanized pipe, UPVC pipe, plastic pipe, PE pipe, PE-X pipe, PE-RT pipe product updates.
- Q: In the begging she chops off her arm but she puts the yellow thing around at the top her arm. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- You mean like she tied it tightly around her upper arm? To slow down circulation to her arm, so she wouldn't bleed out and die so fast when she did.
- Q: What are the different colors available for plastic tubes?
- The different colors available for plastic tubes vary depending on the manufacturer and specific product. However, common colors include clear, white, black, red, blue, green, yellow, and various shades in between.
- Q: There is a row of large planters outside my workplace. Each one is about the size of a bathtub. Each one has this capped white plastic tube the thickness of a beer can that sticks in halfway in the soil at a slight angle and doesn't appear to be connected to anything. What is it for?
- I could be a hole in the soil in which to pour water, and the pipe keeps the sides from caving in, whilst it would likely have holes in it, allowing for the water to be soaked up by the soil.
- Q: While changing the toilet paper my daughter accidentally flushed down the toilet the inner rod that goes through the cardboard tube to keep the roll in the holder. Unfortunately it’s large enough to cause a blockage so I need to get it out. It’s also made of hollow plastic, and will float – so the fact that I can’t see it means it is at least on the other side of the U-bend. A wire hook won’t help, there’s nothing to hook on to. How can I get it out?
- Take the whole toilet off the floor and turn it upside down. OR .............raise your arm above your head, shake your hand from side to side, and wave good bye !!
- Q: Do plastic tubes have any limitations in terms of light transmission?
- Yes, plastic tubes can have limitations in terms of light transmission. The type of plastic used, its thickness, and the presence of additives or impurities can affect the amount of light that can pass through the tube. Some plastics may have higher light absorption or scattering properties, which can reduce the amount of light transmitted through the tube. Additionally, longer or curved plastic tubes may cause further light loss due to internal reflection or refraction.
- Q: I have a winter white hamster, and he always sleeps in his plastic tubes.Should i be worried? Im afraid ther is not enough air flow......Well? Should i be worried? Additional Details?
- its nothing to worry about he could be sleeping there cause he has not found another place to sleep yet or he is sleeping there cause he knows you cant get him there so he feels safer there (my ham did that for a while). just make sure there are plenty of places for him to sleep like huts holes and lost of bedding for him to burrow and give him a day or two to find though's places and he wont worry about getting picked up as much (dwarfs just don't like to be picked up). hope this helps
