- Q: What is the maximum pressure plastic tubes can handle without bursting?
- The maximum pressure that plastic tubes can handle without bursting varies depending on the specific type of plastic and its thickness. It is essential to consult the manufacturer's specifications or conduct proper testing to determine the maximum pressure limit for a particular plastic tube.
- Q: i leave my oil tubes in a clear plastic bin, but ive left it near the window and the sun hit em most of the day... but the tubes are like some sort of soft metal, maybe aluminum? So i mean, i know its never good to put anything in the sun for long, but the paints are in a tube where i think, sun wouldn't really affect em...as for heat. im not sure what that would do to em.
- A day? No problem. A week? Maybe. A month of summer? You can still salvage the paint but you would need to repack it. The better art shops actually have empty paint tubes.
- Q: What diameters are available for plastic tubes?
- The available diameters for plastic tubes vary depending on the manufacturer and specific application. However, plastic tubes can commonly be found in diameters ranging from a few millimeters to several inches.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for irrigation systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for irrigation systems. They are commonly used due to their durability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion. Plastic tubes are cost-effective and easy to install, making them a popular choice for various irrigation applications.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for high-pressure applications?
- No, plastic tubes are generally not suitable for high-pressure applications as they may deform or burst under high pressure, posing a safety risk.
- Q: What is the maximum pressure plastic tubes can handle?
- The maximum pressure that plastic tubes can handle varies depending on the specific type and quality of the plastic, as well as factors such as diameter and wall thickness. Generally, plastic tubes can handle pressures ranging from a few hundred to several thousand pounds per square inch (psi). It is recommended to consult the manufacturer's specifications or conduct pressure testing to determine the maximum pressure capacity for a particular plastic tube.
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to chemical degradation?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to chemical degradation.
- Q: Hey, my dad asked me to look this up and I can't seem to find it. I am looking for the name of the plastic tubing that has electrical wiring in it. It is used under the concrete in construction. I would also like to know if you know the name of the machine that makes these tubes. Thank you
- I got this from the internet: Insulated wires may be run in one of several forms of a raceway between electrical devices. This may be a pipe, called a conduit, or in one of several varieties of metal (rigid steel or aluminum) or non-metallic (PVC) tubing. I could go right o the store and buy this product, because its gray in nature and doesn't have the same characteristics as water pipe. I don't know about the machine that makes it, since it is purchased in quantities in a store. Good luck
- Q: had to take the doors off and the plastic tube got cut. or does it just pull off? anyways is it gunna leak if we try to turn it on? when i put the door back on? i stuffed the tube from the door into the bottom hinge nipple. it's only got ice in the door not water. so that's a drain tube?
- Your ok unless u have the water dispenser in the door. when u press it the relay or valve in back will shoot water out the other broke hose not the end u plugged coming from the door. u can buy a splice or coupling for pennies. Look under there u probably just pulled the connection loose. push the two ends back together.
- Q: What's the little piece of plastic called?
- wall anchor -- they also have metal ones for mason or brick walls ..... If you are hanging things from the walls, look into those new wall hooks from 3M that paste to the wall and you can peel it off so that you do not damage the wall.
