Here are some pictures, even though they might not be the best!: Hello, I can see its a single exhaust, it has an expensive stainless resonator, and its hung proportionately, and parallel to the ground. This is indicative of other exhaust work, not just a tip attached to the end of the factory pipe. It looks to be 2 3/4 in diameter, but that doesn't mean that its the same all the way. Its likely stainless all through if its entirely aftermarket, which it seems to be by the way the resonator is attached nicely. Also, its worth noting that a regular stock pipe wouldn't hold the weight of that resonator, it would crack off in a week if it was just dangling there. Something has been done. Exactly what cannot be determined though from these pics.

And I don t plan on modding the car too much.Thank you in advance, and I hope to find something worth while.: If you have to get it through Ford, then your only choice is the Ford Racing catback system, part number M-5200-FST. It's only one that won't give the dealership a possible way to void your warranty (it's a Ford part). As for the deep growly part. It's not going to sound like a V8 Mustang no matter what you do. Expect to spend around $900 for the catback system and about $200 for the install.

Q:how does adding an exhaust system to your car give it more power?: The factory exhaust on cars was designed to be quiet and somewhat fuel efficient. Replacing the exhaust allows the engine to breath better, and more air for the engine allows it to expel exhaust gasses faster so the car can burn fuel quicker and the car gets more horespower. I have custom exhaust on my crx and a AEM intake on the crx and a Injen intake on my prelude. Gains vary between 10 to 20 horsepower.

Q:I have done some insane research in that respect. but with all the options out there i am confused. i must say the three exhausts that deserved my attention where the following:Thunder header, Bassani 2:1, and the supertrapp 2:1. do you think there r more muscular exhausts systems out there. please hit me with you insight: Thunderheader 2 Into 1
