Q:I want it to be more powerful and loud. I also want it not to cost over $400
USE HEADERS WITH 2 1/2 inch PIPE WITH CROSS PIPE FLOW MASTER MUFFLERS RUN OUT PASSED THE REAR WHEELS DUMP IT TO THE GROUND
Q:Just a standard exhaust sytem (steel pipes, catalytic converter, muffler, etc). About how long does it usually last before needing replacing. My has some surface rust on the entire pipe, and is flaking some around the connections to the muffler and other areas.I live in northeast tn by the way, and it is a standard sedan car.
If you've taken up engineering you might also want to take up mining. You will need the metals all the time for your engineering profession. The rocks you get from mining for ore is what you use for the powders and a lot of other stuff.
Q:94 chevy S-10 p.u. 117.9 in. wh. base, i want 2 replace the middle pipe, muffler, and the tail pipe. i dont want 2 replace the catylitic or the manifold pipe if i dont have 2. i got a rust hole about 3 or 5 inches from the catylitic converter. the pieces are welded.
is the rust before the cat? if so plan on the hole system. most exhaust rust from inside to out as moisture settles inside the pipe with excception to cars driving in snow conditions, and unless you replaced the Cat converter its probably not to happy, the other answer you got was pretty good pipe wise. measure your overall exhaust pipe Lenth and add around a foot for bends (each)
Q:i dont want to spend a a lot of money, but i want to try to get a least 2-3 more hp, any other good mods i could get to get more HP?any advice?
an entire exhaust equipment and a header is your terrific wager for much less high priced and basic ability. including a muffler does no longer something, including a chilly air intake to a inventory engine in all probability doesnt do lots the two, and that i dont care what it pronounced on the container so some distance as ability features. A PCM (overall performance administration module) is a robust wager for ability, based on the 365 days of your motor vehicle. larger cams and a ported head will boost ability. an oem intake manifold, larger injectors, injector rail, FPR, gasoline pump, there is lots you're able to do. And on the challenge of backpressure, a muffler on my own, won't drop backpressure to the point which you will possibly desire to burn your valves. My F150 with open headers nonetheless makes suited backpressure, as did my Corolla GT-S with an open header. and that i run my truck that way in basic terms for my fellow electorate.
Q:Just thinking about upgrading my exhaust and i was wondering if this cheaper brand was worth the money, and if not whats a good brand that may keep me under $300
I could tell you right now that exhaust don't give any performance to your car or truck, its a whole marketing scheme. I guess if you were going for the sound look at reviews. The cheaper brand could be just as good
Q:should i get an ipad or an exhaust system?
No: it's dangerous because of fire hazzard please remove old heater system before placing hardwood floor ok?
Q:I have an old 65 mustang that is waiting to be restored ( i am trying to keep it in repairable condition from now till when i get out of college which is 5 years). Any advice on rust management is welcome and any advice on refurbishing is welcome also. But, my question is. My exhaust system is rattling. I fixed the bracket that held the end of the muffler in place ( bolted to the bottom side of trunk) but, towards the middle second of the car, where the muffler has a wide, jug like section, it rattles. Is this a big deal? What can i do to fix it? Advice please!
ahh get some thrush turbo mufflers sound good but quiet $40 a piece then get some exhaust tubing pre bent at a shop maybe $30. Now if you have a garage install a kit it all really depends on what they feel like charging.
Q:Hi, I took my car in to get an inspection and I was told I have a leak in my exhaust system, they told me it was going to be $600+ to fix. Is that an accurate quote? I‘ve looked at other exhaust questions here, that seems really high.
depends WHERE the leak is and how much labor to cure it. if near the manifold or the manifold itself, moving the engine out of the way (esp if fr wheel dr) can be labor intensive. if it is a catalytic converter involved, burned out, punched, or rusted thru, i suppose those things are gold. well, no, PLATINUM! i'd get a second opinion on repair. be careful that you don't breathe deadly fumes from an exhaust leak.
Q:whats the diffrence between axelback and catback exhaust systems?
This Site Might Help You. RE: what is the strongest flexible cloth glue? read the question. It needs to be really strong.
Q:I was going to install a skunk2 catback exhaust system into my 2008 civic coupe, but i was wondering if its legal or not in the state of PA. Thanks!
