Hi,I'm looking to hook up a car battery to a portable power pack e.g. something like this
Well, yeah, since that is what the power pack is designed to use, your car battery THROUGH the cigarette lighter, a car battery COULD be hooked up directly to it. But instead of using the vehicle cigarette lighter adapter, you'd simply wire the bare ends directly to the battery. Kind of defeats the portability of it, though, since car batteries are pretty hefty. And you'd need some way to recharge the car battery. Car batteries, by the way, are not designed for discharge and recharge. They are designed for momentary heavy surges, or short term continuous use, and constant trickle charge. Deep discharge batteries, such as those used in golf carts, etc, are much more expensive.
I have the Xbox 360 Elite. I bought the play and charge controller, and a battery pack with the rechargeable wire. So I plug in the controller with the battery pack into the cable that charges it and into my 360. The light on the cable is illuminated green, which is supposed to mean fully charged. but when i disconnect the cable that charged it, supposedly, the controller dies. And it doesnt seem to charge it either. Whats wrong with it? HELP! The light is illuninated green, but it is not charged!
in simple terms take it decrease back to the shop. no count if that's a Microsoft sort you are able to call them and that they are going to deliver you a clean one and that they are going to deliver it to you and then have you ever deliver the previous one decrease back interior the field the different one got here in all free of value. I as quickly as had a battery %. that wouldnt take a value some month after i bought it. i think of it have been given knotted up from being too close to to the microwave.
I heard that there's an official Microsoft rechargeable battery pack that can be used with the Play and Charge Kit, and another one that's only a shell battery compartment that you attach to your controller and use normal disposable batteries for it. Which kind of battery pack is included when you buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller?
The Rechargeable Battery Pack for the Xbox 360 controller contains two AA nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries inside a sealed casing, with a custom connector on the rear to allow charging through the Xbox 360 controller itself. If you need more information you can visit the following link
How do I get a hold of them?? I need the one that you DONT charge I need the one that you put AA batteries in. BUT I went to gamestop and they told me I had to go through so much **** just to get one like I have to contact microsoft. I dont trust chargeable so I want a damn AA battery pack. WHERE CAN I GET ONE?!BTW I'm a guy.
Yeah you don't need a pack, the controller would have come with an empty battery holder where the pack goes, you put 2 regular AA batteries in there and click it in. If you have lost this then you have to re-order it from MS. By the way, I use this with regular duracells as the MS rechargable pack only lasts a day before it does (always in the middle of a deathmatch).
I have a device that used an internal, rechargeable 12v battery pack. Since the device is no longer needed, I was thinking of taking out the battery pack and using that to power other devices. And recharging it with a solar panel.Since the battery pack isn't a single 12v battery, but made up of ten 1.2v batteries connected in series, I am not sure if I would need to connect 12v solar panel to it through a charge controller. I have a 12v charge controller, but since each battery in the pack is 1.2v, would the regulator automatically adjust so the individual batteries arent overcharged or may explode?I also have 2 side questions for you.(a) To make my own battery pack, what would I use to melt the PVC shrinkwrap so it would fit snuggly around the batteries?(b) And if I wanted to solder the tips of each battery, would using a solder iron cause the battery I'm soldering the wire to to explode?
You would need some type of charge controller since it is very unlikely that you can find a solar panel that has the exactly correct voltage output. In addition, NiCad and NiMH batteries should not be over charged. You're not going to find an off-the-shelf charge controller that will balance individual 1.2 volt cells. Most consumer grade devices that run on small rechargeable batteries don't provide that feature anyway. For question (a), a heat gun is used. They look like traditional hair blow dryers, but are much hotter, with the temperature controlled by a dial. For question (b), no, a standard soldering iron isn't going to cause a battery to explode. However, the metal for the batteries usually cannot be soldered. When battery packs are made the tabs and other connectors are attached using an electric spot welder. If you can get tabbed batteries, that would be the way to go.
I was using the controller and it was working fine. I turned off my console for a few hours then came back to play. I tried to turn on my controller but it will not turn on. I know it is charged. So then i plugged in the charger, it stayed on for like 5 seconds then turned off. Can someone please help me! that would be great!
Did u buy it with the Play and Charge kit? Those batteries tend to break or work badly. Otherwise, buy a new controller or new battery pack.
I got a rechargeable battery pack from five below and the thing just came with the battery pack its self and no opening for anything to go into it to charge it.and it doesnt even allow my controller to turn on how do i charge the batteries?
you would need a battery rechargeable unit, witch plugs to your power outlet. your better of buying the u.s.b. rechargeable kit for the xbox control.
I ordered a pair of Astro A40 Wireless headphones. After they shipped I did some research and found out that they come with 3 standard AAA batteries that you put into the transmitter. They do have an option, however, for a rechargeable battery pack that can go in place of the AAA batteries (they sit in a battery holder that is then removeable). This pack is then charged inside the transmitter via USB cable. So being the penny pincher I am, I was wondering if I went out and bought 3 rechargeable AAA batteries and put them inside the transmitter, would they safely and correctly charge inside the transmitter in the same fashion as if it was the custom battery pack?Hopefully I was clear enough Any answers are appreciated! :)
It might work, if the batteries are of the same chemistry as their batteries, and the holder is not special, which has special contacts or a switch closure. I would probably do it because I know what I am doing. I have taken cells from older cell-phone packs, and used them in a regular cell charger, and as regular cells in things, so it stands to reason it can go the other way.
