WK series excavators are used for open-pit mines. They have been developed through a combination of years of successful experience in the manufacturing of mining shovels and the adoption of advanced technology in design, processing, and manufacturing from home and abroad. They are suitable both for stripping and excavating open-pit coal mines, iron mines and ferro-metal mines.

Our WK series excavators feature such state-of-the-art technology as three-dimensional imitation and definite circle analysis. They perform well and can be used effectively according to users’ requirements in combination with various haul trucks and crush stations for higher loading and lower production costs.

Our excavators’ electric system uses a rectifier/regeneration common DC bus-bar and variable frequency speed adjustment system. The electric control, with PLC at its core, is a 3-stage system of up-position monitoring, field bus and frequency variable speed control. It causes not disturbance to the power grid, allowing a wider range of power voltage fluctuation and high power factor. The system is loaded with software to optimize the dig/cut curve and automatically optimize the hoist and dig power distribution. The system automatically troubleshoots, displays status, and calculates electric power. This system has the advantages of state-of-the-art technology, reliable operation, high transmission efficiency and low power consumption. Our WK-55 excavators are designed to be used in combination with mining trucks with a capacity of 220MT to 363MT.

I'm wondering if I can tow a 7000lb excavator plus trailer on a short trip 10-15 miles with only one somewhat major grade. I'm planning on having to take it really easy on the truck but just curious if I should forget the idea all together.
It should be fine as long as the Silverado is equipped with the proper electric brake control and weight distribution hitch. The truck has an 8500 lb towing capacity. Bear in mind the weight of the excavator AND the trailer.
Q: I have a 2006 Ram 3500 dually, and I'm currently running the 5.9L 610 Cummins Diesel with a 48RE 4 speed automatic. I have a bully dog programmer, set on the lowest power level, an AFE stage 2 intake, ATS arc flow intake, and a 5 inch MBRP cat back exhaust. I'm now pretty much done upgrading the engine and I'm looking for some fairly easy upgrades to help my tranny handle this kind of power. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really don't pull all that much with the truck, mainly just using it on road tooling around town and going on an occasional road trip. Once in a while I'll tow around a skid loader or a mini-excavator on a gooseneck... Any suggestions other than use a quot;light footquot; will help, Thanks
Been in that truck with that computer. AWESOME!!! You will find that at MINIMUM you must get a billet converter or you will ballon the outer case, I believe you need to go to a forged input shaft. Sorry, but these are not Easy Upgrades, but you will find necessary. Your internal clutch pressures MUST go up. If you carefully read the instructions for the Bully Dog, it goes over what should be done. DO NOT forget to watch the % of transmission slip on the read out..Over 4% and you will be into the tranny anyway. For now stay below the stage 4 until you can get the tranny to hold that much power.
