Whether in well systems or general water supply – KSB’s innovative UPA 150C submersible borehole pumps provide maximum reliability and save energy costs.

UPA 150C submersible borehole pumps are suitable for well diameters from 150 millimetres (six inches). They can be installed either vertically in narrow deep wells or in horizontal position.

Applications of KSB’s UPA 150C submersible borehole pump:

  • Handling clean or slightly contaminated water

  • Irrigation and drainage, spray irrigation

  • Industrial and municipal water supply

  • Groundwater drawdown and management

  • Raw and service water supply

  • Pressure boosting

  • Drinking water supply (certified to ACS, the French drinking water regulations)

Benefits of KSB’s submersible borehole pump

High-grade materials
KSB manufactures its well pumps and motors from stainless steel. A combination of deep drawing and investment casting gives the pumps a particularly smooth finish and highly precise geometries. This results in a continuously high efficiency of the maintenance-free UPA 150C submersible borehole pump.

High operating reliability
KSB’s submersible borehole pumps stand for reliable system operation and a long service life.

  • This is why the well pumps are so reliable:

  • Reinforced suction strainers

  • Sturdy drive lanterns/motor stools

  • Integrated check valves

  • Laser-welded impellers

  • Protection against thrust reversal

Low operating costs
KSB supplies maintenance-free well pumps with perfectly matched motors. This dramatically reduces energy costs. The low-loss check valve also contributes to long-term savings.

Easy to operate and flexible
The maintenance-free submersible borehole pump is available for a variety of riser pipe connections. The check valve is easy to dismantle. The motors come with a NEMA connection.

KSB also has the answer to handling aggressive fluids: For the toughest requirements the submersible borehole pump is available in even higher grade CrNiMo steel.

Q: i want to sell an unused candle maker
The questions need to ask yourself are: - Is the weight of the product and corresponding freight cost going to be prohibitive for anyone bidding internationally or far from my local area? - Is my product too specialised for OKorder? - do I need a large national/international group of prospective buyers to ensure a sale? You may in fact be better off finding a more specialised sales platform. Good luck.
Q: well my work has a huge 10,000 pound piece of machinery...and i know people can donate cars and boats and what not as a tax write off so, where could we donate this big hunk of machinery?
Call a metal recycling place. They would be happy to come get it and turn it into scrap. They would even pay you for it.
Q: What about the title of Mechanical Engineer?
Mechanical engineers enter oneself for an examination condition: Mechanical Engineer: the first qualification examination is divided into basic examination and professional examination. If the basic examination is qualified and meets the registration requirements prescribed in the present measures, it may take a professional examination. After the professional examination has passed, the certificate of mechanical engineer qualification for the mechanical design of People's Republic of China shall be obtained
Q: Well the machinery is hydraulic and so it trips automtically after a certain temperature. It is because of the oil or pressure or what. What should I do in order to let it run for longer time. I mean it runs for few minutes.
you need to describe your question better. Is the high temp on the hydraulic system or the crusher system? If it is hydraulic, add an oil cooler to the system and depending on the temperature desired it could be an air or water cooler. If it is the crusher, you can lighten the feed rate or open it up a little to let air go through the machine. The other thing look at the set temperature for tripping and make sure the switch is set properly. The other thing is, is the crusher set up right for the material that you are crushing. You may have to adjust the mix of feed or put another crusher in line if you are overloading it. And all crushing is not the same. You can crush aluminum cans by just squeezing them into a block or you can shred them into bits with a shredder/crusher. Not clear what you are doing.
Q: Do you operate heavy machinery at work?
do you consider a horse heavy machinery? ;o)
Q: I am involved in assessing equipment for a vehicle refurbishment workshop like lathe ,milling machine, crankshaft re grinder and so on.How old should these machines be to be considered obsolete(years)? Thanks
Something is only obsolete when you no longer have a use for it. As long as everything is in safe, working order and performs a useful function, it is not obselete. For woodworking, I still use large wooden clamps with wooden screws. They've gotta be like 30 years old, but they do exactly what I need them to do. If I got a strong, metal clamp, then the wooden one would be obsolete. Only replace what you need to replace.
Q: why i am asking this is some r saying it has be capitilised on the basis of production and my question is what is relation b#92;w production and claim to be capitilised?
That's a question for a tax accountant or chartered accountant; this is auto insurance. Try the Business and Finance forum for a better answer.
Q: how to depreciate machinery by using weighted average?
It really depends on how you want it weighted. If you have the original value of your capital asset, your variable depreciation ratio based on the data for the weighted average, and the time period, it's really just a matter of calculation. Can you be more specific with your question?
Q: Please try to explain in detail.Thanks.
The bacteria would have to acquire mammalian DNA; the easiest way is to have it absorb the DNA into a plasmid (known as recombinant DNA); this can be induced by heat shock treatment after mixing the DNA with bacteria. This has been done with the genes for producing the enzyme, Insulin, in humans, and E. Coli bacteria (however, this insulin structure lacks certain sugars and does not function properly). Once the DNA is in a bacterial plasmid, the bacteria have ribosomes that can generate the proteins.
Q: Which companies provide them with their machinery to build the cars? I'm doing research and need to know these companies.
The auto companies use many companies all over the world to develop those production lines. For example, a friend of mine in NJ has a small company that creates production lines for all kinds of companies. He recently developed a machine for one of the auto companies. That machine's sole job is to make the latch for the glove compartment. So, as you can imagine, there are probably hundreds of different companies invlolved.
