Q: I have 3 dogs and they all shed and I was wondering what material of furniture is the simplest to keep clean or maybe some ideas some folks have used to control the pet hair in their homes.
LMAO! I got two large dogs and they both shed like madI've found that Micro-Fiber anything works best but it doesn't eliminate the clean up Placing a throw blanket on couches and the bed seems to work out better since I can wash them weekly or more often if necessaryHair-Rollers and Duct Tape clean in more detailGood luck!
Q: What is the difference between a plush blanket and a microplush blanket?
undamaged ones should go to their owners after documentation.

Q: I have a 21 year old gelding that's in good conditionHe has doesn't have complete access to hay all day, only in the morning and around 5:00-9:00 (usually depends how fast he eats itHe has shelter available all dayLives outside no matter what weatherI ride him a lot as long as there's no ice, and he usually comes back sweatyI live in Iowa and we usually get lots of snow, cold, and windSo I was wondering what type of blanket to get himAlso any good websites to order fromThanks
I also like Schneider's and DoverState Line Tack is also goodSchneider's print catalogue contains a chart that shows you the appropriate temperature range for each weight of blanketIf he has a good winter coat and a shelter, he won't really need a blanket except, as you suggest, when he's potentially going to get chilled A weather proof and water-resistant outer layer is crucial, no matter the weightThe weight of the blanket needed varies with temperatureI have two winter weights, depending on temperature and wind chill(Too heavy and they will sweat under the blanket, which is also a problem) If you are only blanketing the horse for a few hours when he is ridden and still a little wet, I'd go with a ligher and very breathable blanket that you can pull off entirely once he's all the way dryIf he's been body-clipped or something and needs a blanket most of the time, then you will probably need to get at least two, one for the coldest weather and one for milder days (and no blanket at all on the sunny, warm days!)
Q: I am really desperate I am overweight and i really wanna lose around 30-40 pounds so i might just starve myselfI will drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and i will be on the exercise bike like for an hour do 20 push ups 50 sit ups and ill be benching and work out how much weight will i lose if i keep this up for about a month?
I agree with the first answerIf you are looking to lose the weight and keep it off, I'd suggest you choose a workout routine and a diet that you can stick to for the rest of your life I don't know what your goal is, but if you want to slim down and lose weight, you should be heavy on the aerobic excercises (jogging, elliptical, dancing)If you want to lose the weight more slowly and bulk up on muscles, anerobic exercises are the trick (weight lifting, boxing, reps with lots of weights)You should be able to find a healthy balance between the two to get what you wantPlus, if you're not already a vegetarian, you can easily make yourself sick on a crash diet of fruits, vegetables, and waterThe idea is not to shock your systemJust reduce your total calories (smaller portions), upgrade on the quality and type of foods you eat (high on protein, low on animal fat, high on soluble fibers, etc.), and cut any unnecessary snacks from your diet (chips, candy, cake, cookies, etc.) Also, if you do shock your system, your metabolism can slow down, because it no longer expects a steady source of energyIt will expect moments of 'hunger' and will end up storing more of the food that you eat (hence the weight gain when a lot of people go off their diets).
Q: let's help
Since you gave no dimensions nor angle for the cable, I will assume it is verticalI will ignore cable massthis then is a trick question a) ship hull floatstension 0 b) ship is fully supported by cabletension 16500kg if hull is sunk in a) then tension 16500kg - (mass of water that hull displaces)you need to know volume of hull
Q: Anyone know how a builder would have insulated a real wood (not pre-fabricated) Log cabin built in 1981? Any chance they would have spilt the logs, then placed insulation in the middle and used the 2 sides of the logs as the facadeor do they just not insulate log homes?Any ideas? I am lookin at a log home tomorrow to possibly buy it, but am wondering about the heating/cooling costs.
We built our log home in 2006, logs are tongue and groove d profile, That is round on outside, flat on insideThere is foam insulation between the log courses along with log stacker, (a type of caulk)If you look at the ends of the logs at the corners outside, you might be able to see if there is anything between coursesNow if the logs on the house you are looking at are stacked with chinking between courses it is entirely possible that there is very little insulation between the logsOur house is very easy to heat and coolThere is a term used with log construction called thermal massLogs by nature insulate very wellIf they are properly stacked and joined, there should be very little draft or air infiltrationAsk the owners for a copy of their utility bills for heating and coolingWe love our log home which by the way is in so east Michigan so it does get cold in winter and very warm in summer.
Q: Long story short, i need to get back at this $$h0le and apparently tiny pieces of fiberglass is a good itching powder? but please answer! and dont tell me the best revenge is to not do anything because i could care less about that stuff you dont know what this kid does
In the attic - insulation is made of fiberglas.
Q: I'm a guy, and I straighten my hair every day.I'm growing it long, and my hair looks terrible if I don't straighten it every day.Anyway, I read that straightening it every day is really bad for your hair. What should I do to keep my hair safe? Also, even if I do these things, is it still unhealthy to straighten it every day? Also, any heat protecting product or whatever, it would be nice if you could tell me where I could get it, preferably stores, and give me examples of good ones to buy, and their usual prices.
Obviously a bag of some type is the best answerDo not get those balls! they are hard on clothes and hard on machinesUse the bag, cold water if the machines allow, and gentle cycle, if allowedIdeally you should air dry them.difficult in a dorm situation, I knowSo if machine is it, dry carefully, don't over heat them or else the elastic breaks downOf course, no bleach Option is to hand wash them roll in towel and spread out.somewhere to dry.
