The items I take are:L-arginine a multivitaminapple cider vinegar capsL-glutaminefiber cleansing caps2g cinnamonflax, borage, and omega's capsa testosterone booster (ginko, yerba matte, zinc)at night I may take ZMA on occasion my perscription medication: wellbutrin (which I just started)and I occasionally use a creatine blended drink in the morning for workouts which contains stuff like nitric oxide, taurine, and other stuffI plan on scaling back some of these like the apple cider vinegar and the fiber solution, but most of the others i've been taking for a whileSo my question is am I hurting myself by doing this or should i not take some of these or space them out?
The fat-soluble nutrients in your multi (ievitamina A, D and E) plus the flax/boraage/omega cap require there to be fat in your bloodstream before they can be absorbed by the bodySo ensure that you eat a boiled egg or piece of cheese about 15 minsbefore taking these onesAlso, the use of fiber interfers with absorption of other nutrientsIt is designed to absorb things in their surroundings, and flush out of your colonSo, it will absorb parts of your nutrients and prescription med and not allow them to be fully absorbedTake your fiber separately by a couple of hours.
Q: I'm making a whole chicken in the crockpotIt has an hour left to cook and I want to brown the skin under the broiler once it's doneI'm wondering if I can just take the lid off and put the ceramic part, that contains the chicken, under the broiler in the oven? I know that they can go in the oven at lower temperatures, but I'm not even going to leave it in that longJust up to a few minutes to brown the skin, and I don't even think it will take that longThe chicken is resting on foil balls if that matters.
The liner of a crockpot is ceramic, and has been fired at a _much_ higher temperature than your oven will ever be able to reach - even on the self-clean cycleSo yes, you can put it under the broilerThe thing you have to watch out for is thermal shock - putting a cold pot into a hot ovenSince you're already heating the liner in the crockpot base, that's not going to be a problemJust don't do something like cook the chicken, put it in the fridge, and then put the cold chicken and liner into the hot oven - THAT could lead to crackingGood luck, and enjoy cooking.
