Q: 1) My husband would like to have pork chops for dinner, but I have never cooked them before( because the last time I had them, they were very dry) So, How can I cook them properly( raw pork is a no - no) and not leave them dry and tasteless? Also, what do you serve as a side dish with them?Okay, question 022) What goes with fish sticks? I know it sounds kiddish, but they can be good for a quick meal or lunch.Last question(I swear!)3) How do you cook salmon steaks? Is it better to grill, pan fry, or oven bake? Which version lets the true salmon flavor come out?THX )

Q: This is for a very big project!
If you are talking about props for a play: (I wasn't sure with the question) I once made props for a play using styrofoam and paper macheI remember buying sheets of the styrofoam at Home Depot and then cutting out shapes to make the propsIf you cant do that, try making the shapes you want out of newspaper and aluminum foil and them covering that with the paper mache to make it smooth and then you can paint itIf you made these and then covered them with a clear coat or polyurethane you could probably use them as play fruit for children etc.
Q: hi, i just got a 12ft aluminum vhull boatits brand new i looking forward to taking it out this spring to fish off of.it is on its side leaning against the fence and i just wanted to know if any damage could be done to it over the winter? also, we are going to keep it down my the bank and i dont know if i should leave it in the water tied to a tree or just drag it up the bank onto the grasscould dragging it up the mud/dirt bank and launching it down the bank cause any damage to it? thanks
It should be ok aganst the fence but better turned upside down and off the groundAluminum is a soft metalIts going to get scratched and dented no matter how well you take care of itIf its sand it will scuff it up but shouldnt cause any structule damageIf its rocky theres going to be deeper sratches each time you launch your boatIf this is a private lake leave it in the waterIf its a river or public place remove it and definitly lock it up especially if it has an out board or trolling motorIt will get stollen.
Q: can someone tell me some paper shooters like hornets but that hurt more and can you tell me how to make them?
We call them bruisers where i'm from, but i think we mean the same thingPaper works fine, its just how you role itMy ones make people bleed :P You want small, tight roles, after you bend it in half it should be no more than 2cm on each wingIve also thought about experimenting with aluminium foilJust remember roll it TIGHT.
Q: Exactly what reacts with the foil in the toilet bowl cleaner, and what chemical reaction takes place?
That's some dangerous stuff to be messing around withThe reaction depends on the toilet bowl cleaner that's usedWhat's most likely happening is that hydrogen gas is released and the heat of the reaction causes the hydrogen to burnThis used to happen with car batteries in the past.
Q: I covered budding apples and figs with ziplock baggies to protect against birdsIs this a good idea or not? I made holes in the bags to let air circulate and drain moisture.
you should get the old fashion hook and rope like the 1960's batmanI use that to get up my stairs
Q: Have you ever been on a plane when there was severe turbulence ?
I'm a mechanical engineer and machinist and that pic simply looks like a hole bunch of rods/tubes welded to a frame so it not something you and buy you have to fabricate itThat a nothing compared to the stuff I design and make so have at it.
Q: i cleaned the surface with a wire brush, it didn't leave any groves or scrapes but the shade of the surfaces i cleaned changed, and i had aluminum flakes all over my gloves.i just read in the manual that i should use gasket cleaner and a plastic scraper.please tell me i didn't screw up
The dull side should be on the inside and the shiny on the outside.
Q: That is low carb and high protein but I'm vegan
Here you go Soy Meatball Sub: 8 soy meatballs 1/4 cup marinara sauce 2 hoagie rolls, sliced in half lengthwise 1/4 cup grated vegan mozzarella (try Follow Your Heart brand) Preheat the broiler to low Heat the meatballs and the sauce in the microwave or on the stovetop until warm Place four meatballs on each hoagie roll, top with half of the marinara and grated soy cheese, and place on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet Place under the broiler until the bread is toasted and the soy cheese has started to melt, about 3 minutesMakes 2 subs
Q: I got a plastic water bottle (used a bowl before, but the water got dirty very quickly) for my hamster only a few days ago, and he's already chewed a hole through it! Is there any way I can fix it before I have to buy another one? I tried using tape in a fit of desperation and it peeled right off, maybe silicone? And is there anyway I can prevent him from chewing on it again? I heard covering it with aluminum foil will work, or rubbing something bitter and unpleasant on the surface, like lemon juice or hot sauceThe metal water bottle guards they sell at the pet store won't cover the entire thingVery irritating, to say the leastAny ideas why he's doing this?
well to fix the bottle i would say just find something to seal the hole i guess silicone would work as long as your hamster could not get to it and eat it this could kill him you could try to use melting plastic and drip it over the hole to seal it and to keep it from hapening again i would say move it up as far as you can to where your hamster can only reach the part where he drinks from and if he actually chewed a hole in that part of the bottle than i suggest going back to the bowl or the metal good luck
