Q: Human capital refers to:Answerthe skills and knowledge that enable a worker to be productive.machinery used by labor in production.the accumulated financial wealth of households.physical capital owned by households rather than businesses.
the skills and knowledge that enable a worker to be productive.
Q: Does anybody have a product to make tires puncture free, specially ag machinery tires?
try okorder or just call your local equipment dealer You local John Deere dealer will always be able to help
Q: On 1st January, 2000 a firm purchased machinery worth Rs.100,000. On 1st September, 2002 it buys additional machinery worth Rs.27,000 and spends Rs.3,000 on its erection. The Accounts are closed each year on 31st December. Depreciation is written off 15% p.a. using Straight Line Method. You are required to prepare a Machinery Account for five years.
1.1.2000 Purchased machinery $100,000 Depreciation for 2000 $15,000 Nbv 31.12.2000 $85,000 Depreciation for 2001 $15,000 Nbv 31.12.2001 $70,000 1.9.2002 Purchased new machinery $30,000 Depreciation for 2002 $16,500 Nbv 31.12.2002 $83,500 Depreciation for 2003 $19,500 Nbv 31.12.2003 $64,000 Depreciation for 2004 $19,500 Nbv 31.12.2004 $44,500 Depreciation for 2005 $19,500 Nbv 31.12.2005 $25,000* *this nbv comprises $10,000 of the old machine and $15,000 of the new machine.
Q: Explain why machinery used on a.c supply is usually rated in kVA instead of kW.?
Because most machinery present an inductive load and so has a less-than-unity power factor. The current peak lags the voltage peak in the two waveforms. However, as the current is drawn at a lower voltage (away from the peak), the load current is higher to get the same overall power to the machine. eg. if it took 20% more current to make up for the voltage phase offset, a 1000W load would be taking the same current as a 1200W load at unity power factor. That's the VA rating, it's equivalent to watts at unity power factor.
Q: I'm doing a paper and I need to know how space exploration influenced movies around the Apollo era. What technological advances (such as the satellites that appear in the movies) were used in Star Wars?
Very little, if any. Remember that this is Hollywood and that means any resemblance to accuracy for science and engineering is an afterthought or relegated to the waste basket when the accountants arrive with their knives and clipboards. To get a more realistic view of space from films you would have to go for 20001 - A Space Odyssey, not much else really. People who quote Star Trek for some of the advances of our own civilization are usually wishful thinkers, a TV series (no matter how well made - or badly) does not generate a major research push on any communications device, it was already happening it just happened to take a decade longer than expected - we had to wait a while for miniaturization and the right materials.
Q: Bally Manufacturing sent Intel Corporation an invoice for machinery with a $20,000 list price. Bally dated the invoice July 23 with 2/10 EOM terms. Intel receives a 40% trade discount. Intel pays the invoice on August 5.
Yeah, so what's the question really? (You don't really state what you want answered). But anyways, Intel missed the 10 day discount period on the payment terms, so they can't take that. ------------------------ It's also hard to tell if the trade discount is already included in the invoice amount (which it should be).
Q: I want to bay machinery to create (P-MS)
yes okorder
Q: can we as humans learn how to fly without any type of machinery?
No. Even if you could somehow grow wings, you still wouldn't be able to get off the ground. People assume that birds and insects can fly soley because they have wings, but that's just the most obvious part of a complicated physiological mechanism. Flying birds and insects have bodies that have become completely streamlined for flight by evolution; the lightest possible bodies, and the greatest possible aerodynamics. Humans simply aren't designed to fly.
Q: I have heavy machinery that I want to offer in Vietnam, is ther such a site like ebay or craiglist in Vietnam.
Vietnam is one of the countries listed on Craigslist. I don't know exactly what you're selling but Vietnam isn't in need of heavy equipment.
Q: i want to make a juice factory particularly for apple juice and i want to know the type of machinery and it cost
I just searched for industrial juicer which also led to commercial juicers. One that came up was the Uniworld (UJC-750) that does 50 gallons an hour for around $700. I didn't look that deep into the links because it's not for me, but I'd guess you can find even bigger equipment in some of those places.
