- Q: If a friend folded a thousand paper cranes for you what would you think?
- that they must have a lot of time:)god bless
- Q: I'm supposed to be critiquing an article for a class of mine.. and I don't feel like I understand the concept enough to critique his use of it... (It's an article about The Red Badge of Courage... the author talks about how the observing narrator Stephen Crane creates in the novel uses patterned reality without ambiguity... he's describing one of the scenes in which the dead soliders are somewhat personified.. describing them in terms of the living...... erm anyone take a class on realism? your help is greatly appreciated

- Q: I wanted the email address for the cartoonist Pickles by Brian Crane to find that golfing humor comic strip that ran in the newspapers. Maybe this would help. How many strokes do you think? Two - one big drive and a short putt. Now killed the golf ball. Then said Now one heck of a putt! I am still trying to find that comic strip but anyone has the email address, please let me know asap. Thanks!

- Q: Write a fully developed paragraph that contrasts the effects of war in two of the following works: Cranes, Thoughts of Hanoi, and Tokyo.
- I could not find Tokyo on the internet...I will look for it later because the first two selections were so good. I did find and read Cranes and Thoughts of Hanoi. The thing that struck me most was that they both had in the back of their minds, in their memories, the thoughts of childhood in their home countries, all its mysteries and beauties...and as well all the regular, daily life going-ons of the communities. It was all still alive to them in their mind, and indeed, in real life. Those same trees they climbed as children still grew. farmers still grew crops. Birds were still birds, wild and free, or caught and sold. War is so awful, so much death, I think you are astonished to find that life still goes on. Much changes yet much remains unchanged. The great wheel of life turns.
- Q: I loved Dr. Crane and his sexy glasses and eyes. Plus, I just love Cillian Murphy, haha. Is his character back in the Dark Knight, I heard he was...but I was wondering if anybody could confirm it?
- The Joker was hired by the various crime organizations to kill the Batman. He used his criminal genius to concoct an elaborate plan to force Batman to reveal his identity. This would destroy Batman's advantage of anonymity, making it easier to kill him. As it turned out, The Joker didn't want money, he wanted to run Gotham City's criminal underground, Batman and Harvey Dent were in the way. In the Batman comics, the Joker is Batman's arch enemy. Homicidal, and brilliant, he's always looking for a way to kill Batman. Even if it means killing innocents or destroying Gotham City in the process. For all those confused about Joker robbing banks: He only robbed the banks that the criminals had their money in. By doing this, he was sure to get their attention. When Gordon and his crew cracked down on 'the mobs'' assets, Joker was there to lend assistance by eliminating all those that were causing the problems. Mainly Harvey Dent, and Batman, but also the Commissioner, and the judge allowing Dent to prosecute them. Always a couple of steps ahead of most, he knew by asking for half of 'the mob's' money, they'd be weak enough to overtake. The reason Batman completes Joker is because Batman is the only person smart enough to see through his plans. Therefore, it's always a challenge to defeat Batman, but not necessarily kill him.
- Q: my friend is in the hospital with really bad burns
- A really long string. Or have I misunderstood the question?
- Q: How do you jump a crane? I know you jack it up but how is that done?
- I have no idea what you mean by jump a crane? What type of crane? Truck mounted, overhead, pedestal?
- Q: I got the crane gold 1.6 roller rocker I'm trying to install on my 95 z28 w/ an lt1 and it doesn't seem like they are installing quite right. I got the tall black nuts that hold the rocker down around the stud and the pushrods, that's it. Do I need to use those things that go below the rockers themselves (the things that slide over the stud and the rocker goes over it from the original rockers) or do I just install how I already am with just the crane rockers, black nuts and pushrods?

- Q: It got me thinking.
- I have not seen the movie, but I think I saw what you're talking about on a preview. I would think that the safeties involved in the control system for a crane would make it highly unlikely to happen. There is no absolute assurance, only probabilities or likelihoods. You just hope that you have enough failsafes in the system so if one part of the system fails, the others will take over, or shut the whole thing down properly.
- Q: i need the story cranes by hwang sun won and translated by peter h. lee and i cant find it on google. help i need the story for my essay
- EEK! I just did a search under Hwang Sun Won. It appears that Cranes is a series of short stories. Is that what you meant? If it is one particular short story called Cranes, I can't find it. I would suggest you go to your teacher/professor and ask where to obtain a copy. If you can't ask your teacher, run, do not walk! to your nearest library and throw yourself on the mercy of the librarians! Another search option for you is to look for books by Peter H. Lee, specifically the ones he has edited. He has written several anthologies. Good luck!
