Tower Crane TC4808 FAQ:

1.What is tower crane?

Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.

2. What is the meaning of the tower crane’s code?

Take Tower Crane TC4808  for example, the first two letters “TC” means Tower Crane, “48” means jib length is 48 meter, and the last two letter “08” means the tip load is :0.8 ton.

3. What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?

First, we need to know clients’ requirements, for example, max lifting capacity, height, tip load and jib length.. Second, we need to know what the foundation requirement from the client is and Third if there are special needs. CNBM could suggest proposal according to clear data provided by the clients.

Q: how can I get rid of what looks like small crane flies in my yard and house. they seem to get in the grass?
First determine if they are hurting anything. If they are true crane flys they will go a way soon. If they are not hurting anything I would not treat them. If you want to identify exactly what they are capture some and take them to you County Extension agent and he/she will be able to tell you what they are and if they pose a danger to you and your family.
Q: How much does it cost to build 18, 22, 35, 40, 50, 70, 100, and 120 ton cranes?
You would have to contact the crane manufacturer. Each size would have different cranes that meet that requirement, eg portable versus not portable. That's assuming those are total crane weight numbers? Or are they lifting capacities?
Q: my father is owning a crane manufacturing business I hav given my ssc wat should I study after ssc IT, mechanical engg., design engg. and others (plz. specify) ?
Without being too critical, the first thing you need to do is improve your English so that you will be a huge help in the company whether in engineering or sales. Cranes require lots of engineering in weight handling (mechanical), automation and controls including instrumentation (electrical) and a tertiary field in engineering is in stopping and starting (clutches and brakes) which can be mechanical or hydraulic engineering. A new filed is metalurgy which is concerned with the way metals perform (stress), lighter, stronger, etc. Take your choice. Mpho
Q: I have a crane fly in my room. I know they don't bite but do they bother people or tend to completely avoid them? I can't find it and I'm going to sleep soon.
This is a new one on me. It's bad enough we have the urban legend that the arachnid daddylonglegs is poisonous (it isn't), now we have the confusion extending to the insect also. Daddylonglegs as a name for a mosquito-like insect is a term used in Britain. What is called a daddylonglegs in the United States is the arachnid which is often mistaken for a spider. It can be distinguished from a spider by the fact that it does not have a narrow waist as a spider has. Also it has no venom glands. The confusion is further extended by the fact that there is a type of true spider which is sometimes called a daddylonglegs spider!. It is in the family Pholcidae and is more commonly called cellar spider.
Q: Is there a certain direction and reason a construction worker will leave a crane facing a certain direction.
Like 2 others said... if the predicted winds are to be higher than, say, 25 mph, they would point the crane into the predicted direction of the wind. If there are no high winds predicted, then it doesn't matter, BUT, they would probably point it in a direction that would do the least amount of damage should the crane support fail, for whatever reason. OR, they might leave it in position over the loading area, so they can begin picking up immediately the next day. .
Q: I wanna get my gf this nice necklace but I suck at the crane games. Is there a way to cheat?
a partial cheat that i use is 1st looking to see which items are at least open enough to get 2nd when i start up i get to the item then to go the left and right of item and adjust which way i go then try to aim for the middle of the item wanted then there is an 80 % chance that i will get the item i am aiming for but some of those crane games are rigged to the point you have to go at least 2 or 3 times depending on what type items are on there because the crane arm looses strength especially if it is far away from the exit hole
Q: It got me thinking.
I have not seen the movie, but I think I saw what you're talking about on a preview. I would think that the safeties involved in the control system for a crane would make it highly unlikely to happen. There is no absolute assurance, only probabilities or likelihoods. You just hope that you have enough failsafes in the system so if one part of the system fails, the others will take over, or shut the whole thing down properly.
Q: In Batman Begins, what was Dr. Crane/ Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) after? What did he get in return with working with them and why did he work with them? He doesn't strike me as the kind to work with groups, he seems like a guy who rather work alone.
Dr. Johnathan Crane is a brilliant scientist who specializes in the study of fear. In return for his work Dr. Crane received funds and more important the blue flowers needed to produce the fear gas drug.
Q: It affects my day to day life, especially in the summer, having to cope with crane flies, wasps and moths getting into my house, so I usually just pretty much keep myself in my room, door closed, windows closed to prevent any from getting into my room. If I happen to be near any of these insects I tend to have a panic attack and can't handle it. I have no reason for my fear, I am just afraid of them for no reason. If my room is too hot, I'll just sit in the dark with the window slightly open, in fear of them coming into my room. It's getting silly now and a lot of my friends will tease me about it. Really it's weird, I'm afraid of these insects, however I don't mind spiders (though I will not touch them), or any other insects for that matter. Can anyone help me to overcome my fears?
There is a reason you fear these, you allow it. Moths and crane flies are totally harmlees, and really nothing more than a nuisance. Over time you develop a fear of them touching you, and eventually even being near them. Because you dwell on this instead of completely ignoring them, you literally brainwash yourself into fearing them. You need to change the way you think about these critters, preferably, not thinking about them at all. At times when they are a nuisance, just deal with them. I had a moth last night fluttering around my lamp, and it finally landed on the curtain. I grabbed it and tossed it out the door. no more moth. I like to sit on my porch at sunset, sometimes I'll watch a little barn spider come out from behind the lamp and spin her web. Often a pesty crane fly will want to buzz in my face, and I just shoo it away. If it gets persistent, I grab them and toss them into the spider web.No more crane fly. (I get those pretty little green lacewing flies too) It is really a matter of learning how to just ignore them, and deal with them when they are a pest. Sounds like you pretty much ignore spiders, try the same with the moths and crane flies.
Q: I need to know exactly how much weight they can lift also how much do they weight?how long is thier life-time?in what temprature they can work?does mosture do any harm to them?for installation , do they need foundation?the exact height and width?
You need to be more specific. The lifting capacities for container cranes varies significantly, as does any other crane. Some of the variation is based purely on load (horsepower) availability; some is based on speed (rpm) for lift/drop portions of the cycle. Cranes like these operate year-round, at ports all over the world. Some ports have average ambient temperatures in the range of 45 C, with highs up to 60 C. Others can be as low an average as 10 C, with a low peak as much as -50 C. Moisture will, over the long haul, harm them - they're metal constructs, and thus are prone to oxidation. Using corrosion-resistant materials and/or coatings will certainly prolong their usable lifespan. The crane drives (electric motors and power electronics) are also susceptible to moisture and other contaminants. All true dockside cranes require some sort of permanent foundation; it's usually part of the pier construction itself. However, there are portable cranes that operate without one. There is also more than one crane manufacturer out there - all will have their trade secrets that will make each look a little different than the rest. It will generally also reflect in their operation parameters, and in their expected life cycle.
