- Q: a company is producing rectangular sheets of plastic. each has an area of (9x^2+30x+25) ft^2.. The dimensions of each sheet are of the form ax + b, where a and b are whole numbers. Find an expression for the perimeter of a sheet. Find the perimeter when x=4 ft.

- Q: What I want to build is a cube made out of semi-transparent acrylic sheets with a lightbulb ballast screwed down to the floor of the cube and the electrical cord leading out. - I would have to say I am about to see through an expression pretty good. Someone was recently looking at a photo I had also seen and thought the smiles looked off and they were but the photo was of people trying to have a semi-sarcastic conversation as they stood there pretending to be something they were not. The smiles were actually the artists' representations of discomfort. I am that type of person who sees the story behind the photo. I would add what the photographer was thinking in how he/she framed the photo but that has little to do with the smile accept in this case the people in the photo know exactly from what angle they are being shot. When you see that in real life it is quite disturbing to notice that the person in frontof you is putting on airs to play to an audience of which you are one. I have seen that quite a bit in people trying to be powerful. I tend to see them and not like what I see. But, then after talking with them i can see if it is simply me not liking them or if there is really something wrong with them. It could be both.

- It's not like I'm an optician, but I don't believe so, no. Eyeglass lenses are lenses - they are ground to a certain shape and polished. Flat plastic is what sunglasses are made from - not truly lenses.

- I okorder / ... You can try the sheets you have, I don't think trying to print on one or 2 will harm your printer, but I doubt they will hold the ink without smearing. Good luck, -K

I have come across the name Plike but I don't know if that's just one specific name brand. I would like to know where to get it also, and assume I might be able to go to michaels craft store.. - They generally aren't sold that way (or weren't, who knows what scrap booking has innovated) but were sold as 9x12 or 8x10 sheets named after the plastic - styrene, acrylic, PVC, and so on. Someone making their own picks is likely to take odd pieces and then sand the end to thin it.
