Q:what physical properties on a molecular level does steel have that make it suitable for scaffolding.
The most common properties include strength, yield strength, elastic limit, proportional limit, ultimate tensile strength, ductility, toughness, fatigue ratio, and loss coefficient. These all are present in the steel. #The basic materials for scafolding are tubes, couplers and boards.
Q:Is there any reason why you shouldn't?
I think that depends on the application and how you want your floor to look. They tend to be about 2 thick and wide (which is good for a scaffold). But most flooring is only 3/4 thick. If you have a way to resaw them that might be good. When I was a kid (1965) I worked in a factory with a wood floor and the boards were 2 thick and about 8 wide. This was a good floor when the factory was built about 1920. Not so good these days. In the right setting they could be very interesting and decorative especially if you can leave the old paint and marks on them.
Q:I live on the second floor of an apartment building the scaffolding is all around the windows. When the men are working, they are just a few feet away! It's awful. Anyway to find out when this hideous mess will come down?
Well on every building that has construction on it there's a little section that he paper work and permits all over it ( usually at street level) so I'm going to guess if you can obtain the constructions companies phone number from those paper you can call and ask when the scaffolding is coming down.
Q:Bowl buckle type steel pipe scaffold and fastener type scaffolding comparison, which is good stability
But from the analysis of the test results and the fastener type steel tube scaffold similar can be seen in the bar by axis connection and other factors, the stable bearing capacity of steel tubular frame than the corresponding frame is increased by more than 15%.
Q:So I've had my 14g industrial for about 5 months now and would like to change it to something else and I got curious about what kind of jewelry I could possibly use with this piercing. Like can I use labrets, tragus, helix or plain stud with rounded backs or the same gauge? I've tried looking it up, but I can't seem to find anything.
Tragus and helix are types of piercings, not jewelry. If something is marketed as a tragus stud, helix stud, etc. it's low quality and should be avoided. High quality body jewelry is very versatile, there are a few basic styles of jewelry that are essentially used for all piercings (straight barbell, curved barbell, circular barbell, labret, rings). You will more or less be limited to straight barbells for industrial piercings. Of course there are an endless number of different ends you can choose from. Keep in mind after only 5 months your industrial is likely still healing, they can take upwards of a year to fully heal. If healing is going well and you really want to have the jewelry changed I'd suggest having it done by a reputable professional piercer.
Q:This pome is scaffolded from a real poem, quot;Capricorn, quot; by poet/publisher TD Euwaite. The link gives guidelines.
Editted - Mate, it stands up all by itself absolutely! Love it! AND it fits like a glove with the original. Well done me hearties! Ahoy me buccoes! Ooh arrrgh cap'n- tis great to hear Able Seaperson/Astropoet Cynthia's singing so early in the day! Lyricalous Stupendous Cynthia, beats the sheets outta me!megaLOL *winks at Cynthia
Q:Scaffolding construction specification is what? Do you know?
This problem is quite professional, general engineering class is good, to help find the information to see if not!First, the role of scaffolding and requirements: 1, the role of scaffolding: (1)operating platform(2)Stacking material
Q:I've pierced my ears a few times myself, but never through the cartilage.I want to know from anyone who has a scaffold piercing, if it hurts?Cause I'm getting it done in 25 days. Thanks in advance x
i got both mine done when i was 12...it hurts wen it first gets done then u get the usual brite red throbbin for an hour or two, but no xtreme pain......i did have trouble sleepin the first few weeks cuz i got both sides done and it hurt to sleep against them
Q:I really wanna get one, but i have questions ? i already have a reg top cartilage piercing, so do i need only one more or does it have to be higher/lower? oh and do they have to make the hole bigger for the one i already have? or just the same? thanks :)
They can't use one of the holes you already have. Things won't line up properly and it won't heal. They will make the new hole either higher or lower, depending on how high your cartilage piercing is at the moment. I would assume they would try and make it higher, but it is about what will be best for the piercing.
Q:I'm 15 atm, I want either an industrial piercing now or a scaffold piercing that I can connect later. I may be getting a scaffold piercing instead, seeing as school regulations here probably won't allow a full industrial. It might just be a phase but I've wanted one for a while, and if I don't like it I can always just keep the scaffold piercing if I decide to get that. What I'm wondering is: Are there any people who have an industrial? does it annoy you? does it get infected easily? and how long did it take to fully heal?I'd appreciate all answers, even if you only know someone with one. Thanks in advance.
max said it perfect.. just keep it clean .. dont get that industrial caught on anything itll rip half your ear off ive seen it and that will cost alot to fix and is permanent .. so be careful climbing trees etc .. doing kid stuff with advanced piercing work.
