- Nothing should be coming out of the intake tube-- water should be the only thing going in. How long has the filter been up and running? Did you prime it by filling the media container with water prior to starting it? More likely than not, you're simply seeing air bubbles carried as water spills down the output-- these bubbles tend to dance around between the output spillway and the intake tube due to the currents created. Even water with an ungodly amount of dissolved gas would not suddenly effervesce-- especially not from the intake.

- Get a used kitchen towel inner-tube, wrap a dish towel round the end for cushioning and use it to very gently ease him out by applying very gentle pressure on his bottom. - The power tube is the part that holds the valve in the marker and helps direct air flow. Getting a new power tube will do NOTHING to performance. It has no performance valve what so ever. The front bolt is the part that helps push the ball out or the chamber. And getting a new one will help very very lil. So lil that it doesn't really matter. THis is because the stock front bolt on the tippmann markers is made so well that changing it doesn't make it any better because they will perform just about the same. Replacing the stock power tube to a full aluminum power tube is a good idea because after a while the stock plastic power tube does tend to break and when that happens it will cause air or co2 to leak. The aluminum one wont do that and lasts a lot longer.

- Q: I have recently upgraded my fishtank. The new one has 3 under-gravel filters and I am using my old charcoal and wool filter as well. I am using a Sonic 9905 pump that has 2 air connections. When I first set it up 2 days ago, all three gravel tubes, connected by T pieces, flowed with no problems and the other filter had it's own tube.Now, either the 2 tubes closest to the pump work, or the further one. They seem to change randomly.How can I get all three to flow constantly?
- If the T piece do not have a regulator on it, replace it with one that has. This is usually called an air regulator. It has a knob on it that you can use to regulate the flow of the air in the tube. Or you can buy a piece of valve that can pinch the plastic air tube so that you can regulate the air that goes into one tube or the other. These are available in your LFS. Ask them and let them show you how they do it.
