Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.

Q: I live in a condo community and they had 3 speed bumps in the beginning of the lot, in which the first (if your coming) or the last speed bump (if your leaving) is placed on a hill so it is hard for my car to make it over with out the car studdering over the bump or I have a hard time getting over the bump slowly although if I give it too much gas my car bottoms out on it. . that was the first issue. . the second issue is now they added 3 more that are violent in the best words thats how i'll describe the new speed bumps . . Now is there any laws that state how far away each speed bump can be placed and is there a law that permits the height of the bump? Also you should know I live in Worcester, Massachusetts . .I would really like to address this issue with the condo association promptly so any laws or advice about this would be greatly appreciated. .I'm starting to be concerned with my car!! thanks
Yesterday one of the Announcers, at the Las Vegas race track, said that in these races, at certain tracks, there are some drivers that are apparently nervous before a race, [because of the track, not the racing]. He said that depending on the track there maybe many that are worried before the race starts. He went on to say that yesterday every driver at that track was concerned. The Las Vegas track wasn't made for racing Indy cars, it was built to race Nascar/ Stock Car type cars. Even at tracks where speed has been a concern in the Nascar races we all know they implemented restrictor plates to slow the cars down. I have been thinking, since the horrible crash that took Dan Wheldon's precious life, about just how much of their bodies are exposed below their helmets. I mean they have on fire suits but that is no match for all the flying debris from a fifteen car wreck, tires from other cars in the crash, and catch fences. At the speeds they were driving many of the vehicles went airborne, even going on top and across other other Indy cars. Do not know what the answer is other than when they begin to race again that they do not race at tracks that are not intended for Indy car races. However I pray that someone will find the answer, that someone will figure it out..and very, very soon. R.I.P. Dan Wheldon.May God be with your family The racing community has suffered a tremendous loss, a void that can never be replaced, only remembered and given honor in those memories.

Q: Well here's da deal, I've done quite alot of research on this and i know that da XI2 is hands down best. but im a college student in north Dakota(were it snows and have ice like crazy!) i wana spend on this smartly. If i go with a set of generals im gona save like $130 but i want good traction too since i put a decent amount of time on the road and my car is lexus sc300 RWD (i know what u thinking but It's the only 1 i have and love it!). My concern is will a set of general STUDDABLES( altimax arctics without studs) will deliver what i want? i drive fast but since it started to snow couple of days ago im driving insanely slow and still i have problem since i have all season tires on it now. i want to drive in a decent pace in city and at least 70-80 on highway. Guys what do you think??? that extra $130 will be worth while spending to help my driving? or i can getaway with a set or cheap generals???
If you don't already know the answer to this question, then you should not be breeding your dog. Get her Spayed. She will be happier and healthier in the long run. Don't add to all the dogs, that are being Euthanized in shelters everyday, because there are not enough homes to go around and adopt them all! Breeding should only be done by those who are breeding for the right reasons and who know what they are doing. You breeding your dog, would be putting her life at risk, because of the fact that you have no experience breeding.
Q: okay. i just recently started masturbating. and i've only been using my finger but, once ur finger is in ur vagina, what do u do next? no rude comments, pleasethanks, and happy holidays!
It sounds to me that your horse isn't happy being ridden at the moment. Get someone out to check his back, his teeth and the fit of your saddle, maybe even a blood test just to be sure. If he is in pain or discomfort he won't want to go forward. It sounds like he has been well schooled in the past so he wil understand what the leg means most horses really want to please the owner..who wants to be hit with a whip!! the fact that he is objecting so much makes me think he is unhappy. If everything comes back showing that physically he is OK consider investing in some lessons or send him to be schooled by a reputable rider. If he has never had his teeth done before he will definitely need them done. Horses teeth need to be looked at and rasped every 6 to 12 months. Get a chiroprator to look at him even very experienced trainers can miss pelvic tilts tight back muscles misaligned poll etc. Sorry to harp on about it but I have dealt with many many difficult horses and over 90% have had physiologically problems which once resolved had produced a tremendous improvement in work attitude..please please give it a try most chiropractors only charge for travel if the horse has no problems
Q: Question: firefighters suggest that the best way to put out a magnesium fire is to pour salt or sand over it. Why is this better than using a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher? This question has something to do with Double/Single displacement reactions.
I have a 4 slice toaster that adusts for different thicknesses of bread. A toaster oven is much more expensive to run for just making toast. Any 110V appliance used for cooking uses way more power to operate. Before I had my electric stove, I had an electric oven and the bills dropped dramatically after getting the stove.
Q: I'm in an apartment, and have been having trouble with my toilet fill valve. I had a leak into the tank which necessitated me turning off the toilet valve several times, and I guess that loosened the nut on that valve a bit, because I got drips coming out of that valve onto the floor. Instead of calling maintenance, I decided to try and fix it myself, and took a wrench to the nut on the toilet valve. I turned it and stopped the leak, but I also turned the toilet valve about a centimeter to the right, meaning that it pivoted about a centimeter clockwise in relation to the wall. I have no outward signs of a leak inside the wall, nor can I hear any leakage, but I'm just concerned that I may have damaged the piping in the wall somehow, and that it might be dripping or leaking without me knowing it. How is the piping usually set up inside the wall for a toilet valve?
yes, they are usually done with pretty much the same thing as pvc cement. Some, use compression fittings. if there are nuts on the ends, it is probably compression fittings. easiest thing to do is cut the pipe close as possible to the fitting, then just install a new one. hopefully, there is enough slack in the pipes to allow you to do this.
Q: Like the part that goes through, you knows. Like holds/locks it.
when you are pulled over do the following: 1. pull far off the road 2. turn off the ignition (radio too) 3. roll down your window 4. place the keys on top of your car over the driver's side 5. Place your hands palms up out the window 6. Tell him for officer safety purposes I am obliged to inform you that there is a licensed handgun in my glove box. Also, keep your registration in a location different from where you keep your gun!
Q: What does the pipe connector type "10-R1/4" mean?
(Pipe, joints) hydraulic term is a part of a hydraulic system that connects the pipe or sets the pipe to the hydraulic element. This is a generic term for connections that can be assembled and disassembled in the fluid path.It mainly includes welding type, clamping sleeve type and flaring type.
Q: Do you guys think this trio is enough to beat The Shield?
Buy a properly designed broiler pan. Believe it or not, virtually ALL broiling smoke comes from drippings that puddle on that ill-conceived perforated sheet metal rack. Goggle the best broiler pan ever created and you will find the answer to ALL your broiling problems.
Q: when shaving down there, how to avoid bumps?
Here's what I do in that instance. I get a hack saw with a fine blade like a 24tpi or better yet a 32tpi. Cut back far enough to be able to put a gray boot then new plastic or brass from the Garbage Disposal thru the P-trap and waste arm. Just take the old drains out and put back new. I use plastic due to it's more convenient and it's hard to mess up. But if you want to go with the Brass, that's ok too. Don't try mixing the two cause your chances for leaks between the to fittings.
