Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. - The two bolts that look alike go through the two holes after the bracket is placed on the frame. The swivel headed bolt is used to secure the lock once you place it in the mount. Tighten the bolt with the swivel parallel to the bolt until there is no play in the bolt and then fold the swivel until it is at a 45 degree angle. It will tighten up and add pressure in order to clamp on the lock and keep it from popping out of the mount if you hit a bump. Good luck! Eric

- Oh ya - just pull all that old stuff out - run down to the store and buy everything new. It's cheap. But if you want, just take everything out and clean it all up really good and put it back together. Those things are usually tightened to hand tight plus a little. You can get a pipe wrench and just put a tiny pull on the fittings once you get them together. If you torque the crap out of them, the pipe breaks.

- Standard water heaters in the US come with 3/4 pipe thread fitings, so 3/4 is what you need. Most plumbers tend to use a torch and solder MPT adapters onto straight copper pipe, but there are fittings that are supposed to make the job easier. There are several reasons why your fitting may not work: 1. the threads on your original fitting might be stripped, preventing the new fitting from getting a good seal. 2. you could be getting a different type of pipe thread from the store. 3. you could be overtightening the fitting when you put it together, One solderless solution might be to use a new product called shark bites. You don't have to solder them, they wokr like a compression fitting, but they go together like ridgid copper. (take a look at the attachment)

- if they're the kind of rubber rollers (hot sticks i think they're called) you need your hair to be completely dry and they'll curl you're hair alot! your hair will look like its naturally curly. if they're sponge rollers - those are meant to sleep in so you get the full curl - those you can put in when your hair is damp. when i used to do it i would wash it, dry it completely, and when i did each individual roller i would spray it a little with a little spray bottle then sleep in them! i use hot rollers daily and i love them bc i can get a wave OR an actual curl from them so, it just depends on your preference. i got mine from walmart for less than 20 (they're remington brand)

- Making something adjustable yet airtight will be hard. The only rubber plugs I can think of are called plumbing test plugs, but don't know if they come small enough for you. PVC plug fittings are made, which fit (preferably with glue) inside the pipe, rather than covering the outside of the pipe like a cap does. Not sure that either would seal as well as you need without glue, or would be adjustable enough if left dry. - Either might fit well enough dry to test the tone, then trim the pipe to the desired length and glue in place
