Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. I would go to Home Depot, Lowes, or Osh and get pipes and pipe fittings (1/2 size). The fittings will help you get the correct shape and size without having to glue, tape, nail, etc. Make sure you draw out a blueprint first so that you know what and how much of it you need. I'm not sure what type of gun you have so I don't know how you could attach the stock. If the gun has holes for screws then you should have no problem, however, if it doesn't I would recommend making a bracket that could fit around the back of the gun that you could attach the stock to. Just give it extra cure time so it drys completely and use the smallest amount that you can to reduce exposure. Since you will be gluing it outside the pond, go ahead and run some fresh water through it after it has set up.

You can run the mains (hot and cold) in cpvc, use reducing couplings or tee fittings to get to 1/2 or 3/4. From there you can use sharkbite couplings to connect the cpvc to copper.

You can either mail order them or go to a plumbing supply house to get them. PVC for plumbing and electrical work is different in some respects as they designed for different uses. However you will find that the sizes are the same. So 1/2 inch PVC fittings for plumbing will fit on 1/2 inch PVC conduit. You may have noticed that the PVC in the store comes in different colors. This is to identify the specific use the PVC was designed for and makes it easy to spot a misuse on a job site. It is also easier to glue same colored pieces of PVC together due as they are made of the same type of plastic. PVC electrical conduit is stronger but is also a bit heavier as it is slightly thicker. PVC for plumbing comes in different thicknesses called schedule (SCH). The bigger the schedule number the thicker the PVC is.SCH40 is white in color and is probably the thinnest PVC you will find at a Home Depot. I feel that you will find that the white SCH40 PVC for plumbing will be strong enough for your 3-4 foot sections. As for making it easy to disassemble you do not need to glue all the connections together. Instead you can connect the PVC and it will pretty well stay together with a friction fit (dry no glue). If you want to make it so that it can't be pulled apart but disassembled you can drill a small hole into the fitting and insert a screw to lock the two pieces together. You can do this to some or all of the joints or have a mix of glued and screwed connections.
