Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.

For the size, now we have 3 series:
1. Out diameters: 16.0, 20.0, 25.4, 32.0, 40.0, 50.8, 63.5, 76.1, 88.9, 108.0 (GB/T 19228.2-2011)
2. Out diameters: 15.88, 22.22, 28.58, 34.0, 42.7, 48.6, 76.1, 88.9, 101.6 (JIS G3448-1980)
3. Out diameters: 15, 18, 22, 28, 35, 42, 54, 76.1, 88.9, 108 (EN 10312:2002)

Q:My friend and I covered (brushed) his rolled roofing (1 layer) with Black Jack fibered roof coating (black). His roof is flat with a 15 degree slope top to bottom. His roof had leaks and it rained 2 days before we covered the roof. The roof felt dry when we started. The temperature range has been 45-85 with some dew in the morning. It has been a couple of days and the covering is blisteringsmall blisters that just seem to contain air. Is it possible moisture from below the roof surface trying to escape? It had been dry for a month before the day of rain that preceded our project, and dry since. Is it the morning dew causing a problem? Most important, is it ruined, or can we roll out the blisters with a rubber roller or something? I'm wondering how long the coating takes to cure as well, as it seems a bit soft to walk on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Yes, the pipe threads are the same However - The 40 80 refer to what water pressure the pipes and fittings are designed to handle - 40 psi 80 psi. That's why the pipe wall on sch 80 is thicker. Mixing the two is a bad idea. You'll either waste money buying heavy-duty sch 80 for a system that stays within the 40 psi limit of of the lighter pipe, or you'll waste money and time replacing the lighter parts when they blow out at the higher pressure.
Q:So I've decided that all I want for New Year's is a new smoke detector. I would like one that goes off with reassuring regularity. As in, when I badly burn the toast, or set something on fire in the oven, or when I hold a smokey candle under itSo any advice on good smoke detectors? I want a good quality one, but not one that's so expensive I can't afford it. Also, I'd prefer one that doesn't go off every time I open the door after a hot shower.
the apparent answer, of course, is to clean the paper. in case you have tried that already, your situation could desire to be led to by some diverse issues. HP printers come across jams with sensors that come across the presence of paper at numerous factors interior the print course. whilst the print cycle starts, the printer is widely used with how plenty time it could take for the paper to pass each and each sensor. If the paper takes too long to realize a sensor, or if a sensor detects paper whilst there must be none, the printer throws an blunders. this suggests that paper jam blunders could be led to by paper being in the back of schedule, paper catching interior the course, an blunders in a sensor, or an blunders interior the circuit board that reads the sensor. i could try a pair of issues to % this: a million) verify that the paper in precise loaded interior the paper tray and the sizing classes are wisely set. this ought to repair ninety 9% of postpone blunders. 2) verify ALL get entry to doors for the presence of paper. 3) Unplug the printer from wall ability and verify out to push a stiff piece of paper (like card-inventory or a manila folder) throughout the time of the paper course. this could clean out any paper scraps that could desire to be trapped in a community you won't be able to see. Be gentle. The 3320 isn't a reliable device. If those issues do not paintings, you could could desire to circulate directly to dismantling the device to swap sensors or boards. If it incredibly is under guarantee, convey it in for maintenance. If not, chuck it and get a clean one. New areas could fee basically approximately as much as a clean printer.
Q:I'm out there running the weedeater, with safety goggles and earplugs so I don't go deaf, and while doing the sidewalk, this young woman jogging and pushing her baby in a stroller runs RIGHT BY me (2 feet!).Dust, grass and a few pebbles are flying everywhere! Now, aside from the fact that she is an idiot, what are my (and her) legal rights? If she or her baby were injured, would that be my responsibility (New Jersey) ? I suppose, given the litigious nature of the US (and NJ), that I am probably responsible, but wondered if anyone knew for sure. Thanks
Depends on your code. I'm used to a 3/4 connection and we run PVC from the meter to the house. The home depot guy should be more familiar with the local code. You don't want the city to make you rip it out
Q:A friend at work had some negative info on his criminal record that is available to the public. Another co-worker found this information and attached his findings to an email and sent it out as a blanket email to all of the other co-workers. Is this legal since it was a public record? or is it illegal?
save yourself the headache and just install an inline vent on the washing machine standpipe. It will work the same as a vent that goes out the roof, only without having to cut a hole in the roof. Cost, about $20. I top of stand pipe, vent here I24 pipe min I I I I tee here with P-trap Istand pipe up, 18 min I drain hose in this pipe I Idown to sewer. tee can be swung to either side, drawing just shows locations. A studor vent will work fine just don't buy the cheap one. All piping and fittings are 2. Since my drawing looks totally wrong when I submit it, The pipe that comes up from the floor goes to the sewer, on top of this pipe install a tee say just high enough so the p-trap will fit, out of the top of the tee, put a 36 piece of pipe, put the studor vent on the end of this pipe. The side outlet of the tee, put a 4 piece of pipe then a p-trap, the riser from the p-trap has to be a minimum of 18 but no more than 42
Q:Is the hydraulic pipe joint stainless steel or carbon steel?
The strength of carbon steel is higher than that of ordinary stainless steel. If it's only for hydraulic lines, it's better for carbon steel, whether it's cost or pressure resistance.
Q:You and the love of your life have a choice to make, which would it be and why?
For the first two questions, the velocity of flow (2gh)^0.5. Flow velocity of flow * area of pipe (3.14*0.5^2/4). You have to subtract the head loss for the two bends and length of pipe. This is typically a loss coefficient * the velocity head, h v^2/2g. All lenth units in feet. To find the time, you need to integrate the flow vs. time equation.
Q:First off, before I get a bunch of crap about it- I know some victims didn't jump they fell it's just easier to say jumpers. Second, R.I.P. to the victims of this horrible day. But, I want to know a few things:1. What do you think were going through their heads? (family, the fall, etc)2. Did they pass out before impact?3. What happened to the bodies on impact?
That's enough pressure for a test. Propane only has half that amount of pressure. All joints should be looked at closely with soapy water though. I always check new installations this way just to be sure.
Q:Has anybody any problems with their Iridium shields flaking? It seems that the mirrored finish and color are starting to flake off around the bottom edge and the tab you use to flip the shield up with. Ive only had the shield for a few months and have only been really caught in the rain once. I use the Motosport Cleaner and Polish to clean it. Any ideas would be most welcome. Thanks
The glue will only work for the intended piping system. A shark bite fitting will transition from PEX to CPVC to copper. It is a brass fitting, that pushes on to the end of any of these pipes, and once on, will hold leak free. If you need to remove the fitting, there is a small tool, that when used, will remove the fitting in order to access the system, or to reconnect a different type of pipe. There are now more companies bringing their version of these fittings, that can't be removed. Good luck!
Q:When I put a DVD, CD or anything into the drive, it sounds like it spins for a moment and then stops. On the My Computer it wont even register that I put something in it. My MediaSmart also says there is no disc when in fact there is one. The button to open the drive works perfectly. What could have happened in the past few days to cause this?
I know your pain. :p Maybe you should wear a top or a dress and where a belt around the smallest part of your waist so it draws attention to it and also shows off that fact that you have a small waist. But curves are beautiful so dont try to hide it too much, but again, i know how you feel. Haha! Hope i helped.
Q:Think of how much air the drivers can get if they hit a speed bump at 200MPH. It would be a challenge for the driver to make all of the yellow lights.
If you have a pipe cutter, you can remove the section, that is, if you can live without that half-inch. If you're replacing it with another compression fitting, you would do well to place it on a section of the pipe that isn't marred up or corroded. Personally, I can't stand the compression fittings. I'd rather sweat the pipe and fixtures in place. You might consider that. It's well worth it, if you do minor plumbing like this, to spent the few bucks and get a pipe cutter, it gives a smooth cut and can fit in some really tight places.
