- Q: As a building gets taller, the crane is raised. How is this done? And when the building is done, how do they get the crane back down?
- they use a process called jumping. iron workers use a special fixture to unbolt the tower and lift the crane up high enough to slide in another section and bolt it down. breaking down of the crane goes in reverse order.
- Q: What do you do after you made 1000 paper cranes. I know you string them up, but storing them is hard. Do you ceremoniously burn them or what? When can they be gone? This is the missing link in the story I want to know. I have 846 and I want to know what to do after I'm done.
- i know this big organisation in Japan and some of my frineds live there... if you are interested, I can give you the address and more details...etc
- Q: How does a person go about becoming a Gantry Crane Operator? And what is it like?
- First you need an opportunity to operate a Gantry Crane, then you will to to get a crane operator license. Finally, you need to find a company who needs a Gantry Crane operator, but if you have located the first step, then you have found someone.
- Q: plz help me
- The Whooping Crane (Grus americana) is a very large crane. It is the tallest North American bird and the only crane species found solely in North America. Adults are white; they have a red crown and a long, dark, pointed bill. They have long dark legs which trail behind in flight and a long neck that is kept straight in flight. Black wing tips can be seen in flight. Immature birds are pale brown. Their breeding habitat is muskeg; the only known nesting location is Wood Buffalo National Park in Canada and the surrounding area. They nest on the ground, usually on a raised area in a marsh. The female lays 1 to 3 eggs. Both parents feed the young. Usually no more than one young bird survives in a season. Loads more on Wikipedia (link below) - good luck
- Q: its huge and it is in my kitchen what to do with it it is freakin me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- No daddy long legs are real because when I got home from last night and I also saw 5 crane flies on my door so daddy long are at are real after all and also crane flies aren't poisonous.
- Q: I live in the upper stairs of this apartment with a huge light right next to the front door, and a bunch of Crane Flies kind of hover around it. So whenever we open the door, some of them come in, and it's a big problem. Especially to a someone like me who's deathly afraid of big bugs.So we want to buy the Raid spray, but we don't know if it would work. The Raid: Ant and Cockroach spray didn't work that well, but that's understandable.sooo anyways, has anyone tried the Flying Insect Raid on Crane flies?
- Crane flies do no harm whatsoever, so what you're proposing will replace the total lack of harm that crane flies do with the potential harm of adding more pesticides to the world, plus the byproducts produced in its manufacture and the garbage the can represents later. Is this really worthwhile? I would suggest you look into getting a yellow bug light, it's quite possible that a different type of bulb than what you're using now might be much less attractive to crane flies. If not, addressing your unreasonable fear of insects would be a safer solution.
- Q: What are the safety devices for the horizontal arm self lifting tower cranes?
- (3) the amplitude limiting device shall be equipped with a minimum amplitude limiter and a device for preventing the boom of the boom from rebounding after the luffing of the jib. The trolley must be equipped with a trolley switch and a terminal buffer. (4) rail clamping device and walking limit device; track type tower crane must be equipped with rail clamping device. A walking limit device shall be installed at the same time. (5) a crane with wind point at the root of the boom with a height of more than 50m shall be equipped with an anemometer at the top.
- Q: Ask about the lift and transportation of the jack up tower crane
- According to the requirements of the 2.0.3 specification: tower crane tower crane installation and disassembly operation should be equipped with the following: 1, hold a qualified safety assessment certificate of the project and responsible for the safety of people and machinery management personnel; 2, with construction qualification certificates for special operations of the construction hoisting machinery installation and disassembly, lifting work, special operation signal heavy drivers, riggers and other operations personnel. And an electrician.
- Q: What are the main technical parameters of a tower crane?
- Generally speaking, the main parameters of the tower crane are:Maximum amplitude unit MMaximum lifting height, unit MMaximum lifting torque unit KN.mMaximum lifting speed unit m/minMaximum lifting unit tRotational speed unit r/minVariable speed unit m/min or o/minWalking speed per unit m/minMotor power unit w......Please refer to the product manual.
- Q: So, this might seem like an odd question, but here goes.I work in an office and outside the windows there's a crane. Every day I come in from work, it has turn a little. The half-finished building that it stands next to is not being worked on and there's never anyone using the crane during the day. There's no other construction going on in the area is stands at.It's pretty high up like 6th to 7th floot and it's in a windy town. Does that matter? Why would someone turn around a crane during the night? Is it all a scheme to make me paronoid because they know I'm starring out the window most of the day?
- I guess it would be pretty windy up there at the top - maybe it is not fully locked, and the wind blows it around a little bit.
