- Q: So right after the curved pipe that comes out of the muffler a piece of pipe, probably a little over a foot long rust off. The pipe itself wasn't that rusted just the ends of the piece that broke off. The front of the exhaust pipe is still secure and the curved section attached to the muffler seems secure as well. - I don't know how big a carb your rotary uses, but if you could find a small Holley carb to replace the current one, you can easily modify it to be boosted (blow through). If you do draw through, it would be a good idea to not run an intercooler. I'd say try to make it blow through, because then you could run an intercooler. But, if you want a cheap easy way to do it, go draw through, as all you'd really need is an adapter to bolt the carb to the turbo inlet and the piping to run the turbo. A MegaSquirt system seems a little too in depth for just a toy. I'd say just be sure you can weld pretty good to make air tight pipe fittings. Outside of that, it's not too difficult as long as you have enough room in the engine bay.

- Black pipe is typically used for natural gas plumbing, I would NOT recommend using a torch for this unless you have a death wish. Turn off the gas from the main, vent the content from inside the pipe from the exterior, add fittings to properly reposition the line using a petroleum-safe joint compound, turn on the gas and check for leaks at the fittings as necessary. NEVER heat rigid pipe to bend it for ANY reason.

- i'd go to the hardware and buy a double compression fitting cut the pipe as needed and put the fitting in. it will last forever. . these fixes are just that fixes what you want is to repair the problem. i've been seeing and getting info on these quick fixes for years like mike holmes says if you're gonna do it , do it right. your hardware clerk can tell you what to do, just make sure you know what size pipe diameter you have. a pin hole is going to keep getting bigger just like a cavity on your tooth will. and in comes murphy's law
