- Q: ok well, i already know what an additive inverse is, but i have to make a poster for math about it and i need a way how you can remember it
- If you hear any advice regarding all cichlids, it's automatically wrong. Cichlids come from all over the globe and all sorts of environments - one can have opposite needs of another. Driftwood can leech acids into the water and drop the PH. This is why my Malawi cichlid tank has not a single piece of driftwood in it, an my Nicaraguan cichlid tank has lots of it. Since you have 'Africans' from the rift lakes it is advisable not to use it, but not all types of driftwood have as much affect on the water as others, and the harder and more alkaline your water is in the first place, the less affect driftwood will have. If you are not noticing any problems, no worries - just keep an eye on things.
- Q: Im confused with this. Do they mean the same?
- the additive property is one of the properties of addition. It really doesn't matter. As long as you realize that a+bb+a you should be fine.
- Q: Is there an additive i can mix with jp8 to safely run diesel equiptment?
- you keep wanting to do this/so put it in there and when the thing blows dont start crying/the answer is get a refinery and do it yourself/sell the excess
- Q: I know that Q itself is not cyclic, but what about proper subgroups of Q. All subgroups I can think of so far seem to be cyclic and therefore generated by one fraction. For example if the cyclic group generated by m/n is represented as <m/n>, then every subgroup of this form would be contained in <1/mn>.For example, <2/3> is contained in <1/6> etc.
- first of all, I assume Q is the rationals, not the reals. (otherwise the rationals are a non-cyclic subgroup). Consider A = {m/n: in lowest terms, there does not exist x such that x^2|n} A is a subgroup of Q. It suffices to show that A is closed under addition. Let m/n, m'/n' be in A. Then there does not exist x such that x^2 | lcm(n,n'). Otherwise X^2 divides n or x^2 divides n'. Consider B = {m/n in lowest terms : 3 does not divide n} also a non-cyclic subgroup. I have no idea how to classify all the subgroups of (Q, +). i think this is a harder problem than you imagined.
- Q: What is your opinion on Food Additives?
- ALL food additives (healthy or not) should be OPTIONAL. Let the buyer of the food decide what is or is not to be added. Why force everyone to buy a preserved or canned or frozen food with all the stuff already in it that many may NOT want, or even know is in there ? Same is true of fluoridated water. DON'T wreck the plumbing and pipes of cities by FORCING people to drink this water. Fluoride is a HIGHLY TOXIC waste product of the aluminum industry, and does LITTLE good for most people except 1-2 year olds as their teeth develop. Makes EVERYONE sick, slowly but surely. Instead, offer at a HUGELY REDUCED COST--**FREE** fluoride pills to anyone that wants them.
- Q: If so what‘s the name of the brand?
- ALL cigarettes used to be additive free! Now even the ones the Native American tribes make and sell have additives by law in them. I smoke a brand called Native and it still has that no burn substance in the tobacco. Otherwise it is additive free.
- Q: help!!
- I think they only have to provide smoke detectors but every city is different. call your local fire dept and ask them what the laws are. you may have to buy your own fire extinguisher.
- Q: I have a ‘02 Triumph Bonneville America that has been sitting for a while. After I replace the fuel with fresh gas, I‘m thinking about adding either a small amount of Marvel Mystery Oil or STP carborator treatment to help clean out the pilot jets. Is this a bad idea? Is there a better way to go about this without tearing my carborators apart?
- I did a little research on STP and Marvel Mystery Oil and discovered Oronite,as well as some other things. Most of the gas additives start with kerosene (STP calls it jet fuel) then add things like naphtha, benzene and xylene. Then there is stuff called Oronite. It is a trademarked name for Chevron's proprietary compound used in their bulk gasoline with Techron. Anyway, I looked at a couple of different MSDS sheets for different brands of fuel additives and only STP and bulk Chevron gas contain proprietary compounds along with along with several chlorinated hydrocarbons. Which would I use if I were you, STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner.
- Q: Sega's fuel additive to buy what is good
- This carbon deposition problem, are generally cold report failure, is certainly a cylinder cold car because of carbon deposition caused by inadequate combustion (carbon deposition in the cold state will dilute part of the fuel), it will report a failure! Gasoline additives are best used in the original, because the original is for this model R & D, do not want to buy a generic type, what car can use points!
- Q: Is good idea to use engine flush additives? for example 5 min flush before oil change.
- If you use cheaper/conventional motor oils that are prone to sludge, yes, I would recommend it. If you use a good synthetic you will probably not need it.
