These procedures are continually repeated in the assembly of the scaffold.
In this way, as many as four ledgers and four diagonals can be attached to one ring! This creates a connection point which can bear very heavy loads.

- Are you sure you didn't mean to say Scaphoid Fracture. The scaphoid process is a projection coming from your Scapula(shoulder Blade), that connects with the clavicle( )and humerus(arm). Hope this helps thanks.
- Q: I got my scaffold/industrial piercing today..about 4 or 5 hours ago and The glands in my neck are now swollen pretty bad..I usually suffer with swollen glands but not this much..is this from the piercing?? Is it dangerous? Also my ear still stings is that normal?Thanks in advance
- There are a lot of viruses/allergies/sinuses going around right now, and I would say that the swollen glands aren't from the piercing, but it could very well be a lymph node in your neck with a collection of white blood cells grouping together to go fight the bacteria possibly from the piercing. And the stinging is fine, mine hurt for a really long time after I got it. Actually it still hurts quite often. But just keep applying the sea salt mixture three times daily and you should be healed up in no time! (:
- Q: is it possible for me to get an industrial piercing like do i have the right kind of ear shape for it ? or will it look funky and you wont be able to see it ?
- I think your ear would look good with a industrial piercing. My three cousins have them. Two have HUGE ears, and one has ears the size of quarters. They all look perfect and you will too. BTW, i am using my friends account, so don't think this creepy guy is talking with you. This is truly a girl.

- Do you mean to do the two adjacent joint? Specification requirements shall not be within the same span and within the same level, specific reference
- Q: is it safe to get an industrial/scaffold and weaving piercing at the same time?
- It's not SUPER dangerous, but I wouldn't recommend getting them at the same time.
- Q: Okay well it's been 4 weeks now and I think that the front part is infected I'm not sure. But just next to the piercing there's a bump in my ear and puss comes out, but it's not that much. How can I tell if it is infected? And if it is, is there anything I can do about it? Thanks. :)

- Q: I'm wanting a scaffold piercing so i can wear it with a bar or 2 rings. Could i get it PIERCED with the 2 rings to begin with or do i have to have a bar for the first few weeks/months?
- Generally a Scaffold piercing is pierced with a needle and a bar runs through both piercings. You can get it done with BCR's, however it would be much more difficult to align the piercings up because of the curvature of the rings. Also the Scaffold can be pierced with PTFE or BIOPLAST, these are both lightweight and flexible and will take the pressure off of the piercing. You can also have the scaffold done with 2 separate Barbells, but the most common way is with one long Scaffold bar. These are usually around 38mm long and 1.6mm thick. Cartilage piercings can take quite a while to heal, anything from 12 weeks to a year to completely heal. If in any doubt, talk to your piercer first about your options.
