- I don't see why not. It would certainly be sturdy enough, just be sure to secure it to the tree. I've known guys that have made them out of electrical conduit so I don't see why scaffolding wouldn't work.
- Q: I got my industrial pierced about three days ago. The shop I wanted to go to closed so I went to another one that cost a bit more. The guy who pierced it said to only clean it with warm water, but when I got my helix, tounge webbing and angel bites I was told that all new piercings need disinfectant. What are some disinfectants I could use and am I right by doing this or should I listen to the piercer?
- Well you definitely need to use more than just warm water to clean it. Try using something like Provon soap and do sea salt soaks at least twice a day to keep it clean.

- I'm not a big fan of ear piercings on guys, especially that one. I live in LA and I've only seen it on girls. - your best thing to do is to look up in the phone book or Internet. there are lots of different companies that rent out lifts. Depending on where you live. I know of a few nationwide ones, Hertz for one. Just call the company and tell them you need a lift. if the work is to be done outside I would use a small boom lift, but if it needs to be done inside just a regular platform lift should do the job. they also come in gas, and electric but being that you only need one to reach 16 ft. you probably only need an electric, just be sure to charge it over night when you are not using it! You will probably have to make a credit card deposit also.

- Q: Okay well it's been 4 weeks now and I think that the front part is infected I'm not sure. But just next to the piercing there's a bump in my ear and puss comes out, but it's not that much. How can I tell if it is infected? And if it is, is there anything I can do about it? Thanks. :)
- First, leave the piercing in. The jewelry will act as a drain. If you take the jewelry out while it still has puss, the infection can be caught under the skin and that's a world of problems. ONLY wash it with unscented, uncolored anti-bacterial soap and sea salt soak it with warm (not hot) water twice a day for 10 minutes. I think it's 1/4 teaspoon sea salt water in 1 cup water
- Q: Hi im thinking of buying some Industrial Jewelry online but im not sure about the measurements. My recipt for my piercing says a 14g 1/4 barbell was used.
- From what I see on the site, pick the 14GA 11/4 option since it's long enough to go through the top of your ear. Seems there was a little typo on the receipt your piercer gave you. The mm measurements next to each of the sizing options refer to the diameter of the balls on either side. Hope that helped!
