Q:arnt scaffold /industrial piercing so pretty !!?
yes they are :) i like it and i am thinking of having one :) if you like it so much you should have one too! i bet youll look great if you love it:)
Q:i have an industrial piercing but the top piercing(scaffold) has a bump on it making it hard to find the hole to put other jewerly in besides the bar. how do i get rid of the bump?
It is probably hypotrophic scarring. Cartilage piercings, especially all types of industrials, are prone to this type of scar. Hypotrophic scarring is a bump surrounding the exit hole, the same color as your skin. It may feel hard, but often are not painful. They are usually caused by jewelry putting pressure on the piercing, and the body responds by scarring. Hypotrophic scarring is often due to pressure on a piercing. Changing your jewelry is usually the best move. If the scar is around a ring or other curved jewelry, switch to something straight, like a barbell. If it's on an industrial, put individual jewelry in each piercing. Consult your piercer for jewelry changes in unhealed piercings. Time and oil massages often improve scarring. If hypotrophic scars don't improve after some time, steroid injections and certain topical creams may help. Consult a doctor to see if this is an option.
Q:I got my scaffold/industrial piercing today..about 4 or 5 hours ago and The glands in my neck are now swollen pretty bad..I usually suffer with swollen glands but not this much..is this from the piercing?? Is it dangerous? Also my ear still stings is that normal? Thanks in advance
There are a lot of viruses/allergies/sinuses going around right now, and I would say that the swollen glands aren't from the piercing, but it could very well be a lymph node in your neck with a collection of white blood cells grouping together to go fight the bacteria possibly from the piercing. And the stinging is fine, mine hurt for a really long time after I got it. Actually it still hurts quite often. But just keep applying the sea salt mixture three times daily and you should be healed up in no time! (:
Q:Okay, I'm wanting to get my scaffold pierced, I'm just curious on how much they hurt, and how much they cost. Another thing, how long is it before it heals?
dont get anything peirced u will regret and its hurting ur body well not ur body its (gods body) actually but thats just ma opinion dont get oneee but its up to u.
Q:Thinking about getting this peircing done next. I got my first and second peircing on my lobes and neither hurt at all to me (like .5 out of 10). How much does industrial hurt out of 10? Is it a similar pain to lobe peircing? Also how long does it take to heal, until you can take it out and sleep on it?
For me, I'd rate it's pain level at about a 5. Just all depends on how well you tolerate. It's more uncomfortable than getting a lobe piercing, really not that similar. Mine took about about 6-8 months to heal for changing the jewelry, but took like maybe 2-3 months until I was able to sleep on it again. Good luck if you get it.
Q:A window washer is standing on a scaffold supported by a vertical rope at each end. The scaffold weighs 210 N and is 3.30 m long. What is the tension in each rope when the 690 N worker stands 2.30 m from one end?______ N (smaller tension)______ N (larger tension)
assuming the scaffold is uniform weight, take moments around 1 end to get the tension in the rope of the other the ∑M = 0, take the rope tension direction as positive 690 x 2.3 + 210 x (3.3 / 2) = T1 x 3.3 T1 = 586N Now moments around the other end 690 x (3.3-2.3) + 210 x (3.3/2) = T2 x 3.3 T2 = 314N You can check your answers as ∑F = 0, so 586 + 314 - 210 - 690 = 0
Q:So I've had my 14g industrial for about 5 months now and would like to change it to something else and I got curious about what kind of jewelry I could possibly use with this piercing. Like can I use labrets, tragus, helix or plain stud with rounded backs or the same gauge? I've tried looking it up, but I can't seem to find anything.
Two curved barbells could replace your industrial piercing, you should select barbell with length for you comfort and additional length.
Q:Im wondering what scaffolding means because my husband is going to louisiana to go work quot;scaffoldingquot; and i was wondering what they do
Scaffolding is the framework of metal tubes and wooden planks which is built up around a building, so the workers can stand safely.
Q:I had my scaffolding piercing done on tuesday (now sunday) and it is still really painful and sore. But my main concern is that the skin under the bar looks like it's being pushed down and the skin is growing around the bar? Is this bad?
Yes it is bad if I looks as if it has the skin growing around it. I would see your piercer about that.
Q:I've pierced my ears a few times myself, but never through the cartilage.I want to know from anyone who has a scaffold piercing, if it hurts?Cause I'm getting it done in 25 days. Thanks in advance x
I had my cartilage pierced a few times in training and it doesnt hurt, its more the after pain that is most irritating, just take paracetamol!
