- Like molitor said, if someone wants your bike bad enough, there's hardly any way to stop them. However, theives are like roaches; they don't want to be seen and scurry away when they think they're found out. Anything you do to slow them down works in your favor because it urges them to move on to easier pickings. Incidently, every system has its weakness. How good is your chain? Just because a chain is big doesn't mean it's strong. Even cheap Chinese bolt cutters will cut through a really big cheap chain, soft bolt or cheap padlock. Go for the high quality chains used by truckers to bind down loads or the type designed for overhead hoists. They may not be as big as others, but they are really tough and will give bolt cutters a run for their money. If you have bolts anywhere on the chain, use grade 8 and a good, hardened lock.

- If you are a wimp with pain, you will probably think it hurts. For me it was intense during the first hole for what seemed like 5 seconds or so. It also started bleeding (which my piercer says this is the best part of my job!). If your cartilage is really thick, it will most likely hurt more as it will take more pressure to get the needle through. With this said, it was my best piercing experience and I love it! Just remember to breathe and you will be fine!!

- You can get one and to prevent it you have to clean the piercing with listerine a girl i know named myra she got a cauliflower because she cleaned it with alcholo and it looks so nastyyou need to clean it with listerine.

- Huh, I have mine on my left ear. I suggest getting it on your right ear, you really need to avoid sleeping on it, and trust me, it's really uncomfortable if you do!
- Q: I got mine done about 10 weeks ago, with the two rings either side of the ear to give it healing space, then about 2 weeks ago, got the bar put through it... but I still can't sleep/lie on it comfortably. - It takes 6-12 months for a cartilage piercing to heal when done properly with a needle and double that time if a gun was used. I don#x27;t know why they pierced you with rings (should never be used in a scaffold#x2F;industrial piercing) and especially why they changed it to a bar so soon. You should have been pierced with a bar to begin with because changing the jewelry like that causes irritation and prolongs healing time. I think you need to find a different piercer.
- Q: im quite high up so would have to do the job internally (from the inside..avoiding climbing on roof). it seems that a material (looks like cement?) was used on this old roof (on the inside) and some of this has washed away as i can see daylight where the rain water is leaking through. there's also no black felt evident
