Q:I know, I know, straightening your hair can cause future damage, but that is the main reason I am asking this questionI was wondering, is there some kind of hair cream or straightener that will help make it so you won't get frizzy hair or split ends? Or should I just perm it, even though doing so the chemicals could damage it even more? My hair looks horrible if it is not straightened and the start of a new school year is coming up and I would love to have a good first impression on peoplePlease and thank you!
I agree with most of these answers hereAlways use heat protectantsTresemme Heat Defense spray is good and a light formulaI have fine hair but lots of it and any kind of serums just weigh my hair downDon't straighten every day if you can help itI would invest in a good straightenerGHD's are one of the best but they don't offer temperature control so I wouldn't buy one of themI recently purchased a HD one through eBayLook at HD, H2D, Super Attitude Styles hair straighteners as they claim to be good if not better than GHD'sLook at feedbacks as well to determine good/great sellersMake your mind up from thereAlways know your hair type and what you can and can't do with your hairDo not chemically straighten your hairI have had that done, although I don't regret doing it my hair was considerably dry afterwards thoI only did it go get rid of a growing out perm, yuk!!!!
Q:Which method makes a more comfortable AND attractive blanketALSO which types of yarn would be best for looks and comfort? Thanks much)
cucumber vines produce pickles until frostyou should have more growing as I write thisfind yourself a stainless steel wire rack for your next canning adventuredo not wipe your jars out after you boil them to sterile them.that re-contaiminatesthe jarslet them air dryas long as there was no vinegar in the sterilizing water your pickles should be okay.
Q:I crochet baskets and other items from cotton thread and, when done, I starch them with a 1:1 sugar and water mixture which is boiled to dissolve the sugar then cooled and the item dipped in itI have made something for my grandson from acrylic knitting worsted and would like it to retain its shape but I don't know if I can use the same starching method to accomplish this.Anybody know? Thanks,Deana

Q:Hey all,Back to true questions LOLAnyway, My horse is currently at a horse show in an outdoor stallThe barn trailered her out there for me as school is more important right now (As I was told by my mother) xD So from my understanding they trailered her late morning, early afternoonI will not be able to make it out to the show until 5:30-6ishIt is going to rain (I can hear the thunder as I type) and I'm worried about her being naked in a stallCanada is not known for having warm rain until summer so if it is cold rain im a little worried :/Will she be ok until I get there? She has been turned out naked the past few days so thats how they shipped her. Thanks so much, feel free to ask questions if you need verifying )

Q:I usually buy clothing made of 100% cotton or a cotton blend but I see many clothes in stores made of other fabrics and I was wondering if they are good quality or notDo they wear well, wash well, shrink, are they durable, etc.?
It varies here week to week, even daily, since the price is determined by commodities tradingLike golf and silverA couple weeks ago I got $1.44 a pound, but other times $1.56 a pound.
Q:i know that fiber has a high frequency range that made it capable to use light to transmit its data, but i don't know why fiber has a high frequency range (from the material point of view)?please help me.
Fiber doesn't have resistance or capacitance like electrical transmission lines.
Q:well.i understand the weather is like,100 degrees now(where i live-at least) but my hair still puffs up even after i think i have done my best to tamer my hair.this is my normal routine: i started washing my hair in cold water now because it feels better it's more shiny.then i run sunsilk's de-frizz creme through it.sleep.then wake up straighten with my conair straightener.i have really thick poofy wavy hair so i need least 45 minuites to make it nicestraightit looks pretty good but then it can get all frizzy back 2 wavy AFTER i straighten it.WHY??i use the serum while i straighten it too but i dont udnerstand why this happens.help plz

Q:tomorrow i have to make a craft for 1st graders at churchthe subject is about complaining and to not complainany ideas for a craft and a fun game? thanks!
Juanita and J are rightAn inch of spray-on insulation foam, (and there are several types, one of which is a soy based, and therefore NOT petro-chemical goo) will do you more good than any amount of fiberglass will, and will out preform foamboard tooIf you completely fill your wall cavities with foam, your home will have several times the insulative value of your freezerNow THAT'S insulation!
Q:something to spray before curling with iron
Why not pick up the phone book and call some local welders? One buddy of mine would probably charge $100/hr plus materialsAssuming that you already have fitted/mitred the tubes and they just need welding It all depends on where you live and if you are just dropping off a pile of raw aluminum or a project that is ready to weld
