Q: OK, I have to do some landscaping and I want to try to prevent weeds from popping up, so I planted 10 Lantana and around the whole area I laid a clear plastic drop cloth, I cut about 12 inch holes for each of the lantana and I covered the whole thing with mulch. I want to make sure that this will not kill the lantana, the plastic does not let water or air through however like I said I cut 12 inch openings for the plants, is this adequate?: if you live in a really warm climate, you might kill everything underneath the plastic. The ground will heat up and the plastic will trap the warmth and the soil won't breathe. Let's hope it doesn't kill your plants.

Q: i have a water leak inside my car and its coming from inside the door panel, the plastic inside the door came apart from the metal so the water finds its way inside my car, im wondering what kind of adhesive i can use for this application. i know originally they use a butyl caulk/adhesive tape but idk where to find that stuff, anybody have any ideas?: Any of the good epoxies will work. Just make sure the epoxy is rated for outdoor use and the part to be glued is dry and clean before applying. If you can, after gluing and to make sure the parts stay in contact, you might use some duct tape to hold things together. If the repair isn't visible , you can leave the tape on. If it will be visible, the tape can be removed after the epoxy has cured. (allow proper curing times with longer curing times possible with winter temperatures)

Q: Under the temp. probe, and under the heater, obv. And these go under the liner, right? Electricity and water together = bad deal!So have I found the right answer?Bed is in chilly room in cold house, soft-sided with wooden frame. Will of course be using woolen, polyester, blankets on top, or maybe put the fake eiderdowns under bottom sheet and use the wool etc. over top sheet. I would also look into glass tabletop covers as they will be less likely to scratch over the long term and can be purchased at andy glass specialty shop and hobby lobby even carries an assortment of glass table tops.....the backside of the glass can be painted to any hue you want using glass paints from a craft store! Just be sure to put a clear finish on to protect it if you do!
