- Q: I'm trying to hang a picture.
- I think you mean the anchors. They are used when your wall is plasterboard and you can't find a stud to screw/nail into. Putting just a metal screw into plasterboard does not have much strenght for hanging things. The plastic anchor helps spread out the load.
- Q: What is the lifespan of plastic tubes?
- The lifespan of plastic tubes can vary depending on several factors such as the type of plastic, the environment they are exposed to, and the conditions they are used in. However, plastic tubes are generally known to have a long lifespan, ranging from several years to decades.
- Q: What are the disadvantages of using plastic tubes?
- One major disadvantage of using plastic tubes is their negative impact on the environment. Plastic is not biodegradable and can take hundreds of years to decompose, leading to pollution and harm to ecosystems. Additionally, plastic tubes often require the extraction and processing of fossil fuels, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. Moreover, plastic tubes can leach harmful chemicals into the substances they contain, posing health risks. Lastly, plastic tubes are less durable compared to other materials, making them prone to breakage and requiring frequent replacements, increasing waste generation.
- Q: What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the agricultural packaging industry?
- Plastic tubes offer several advantages in the agricultural packaging industry. Firstly, they provide excellent protection against moisture, insects, and other external factors that can damage or contaminate agricultural products. Secondly, plastic tubes are lightweight and durable, making them easy to handle and transport, reducing the risk of damage during transit. Additionally, plastic tubes can be easily customized in terms of size, shape, and color, allowing for efficient branding and product differentiation. They are also cost-effective compared to other packaging materials, making them a preferred choice for agricultural packaging.
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to stainless steel tubes in terms of corrosion resistance?
- Plastic tubes generally exhibit better corrosion resistance than stainless steel tubes. While stainless steel is known for its resistance to corrosion, it can still be susceptible to certain corrosive environments and chemicals. Plastic tubes, on the other hand, are typically highly resistant to a wide range of corrosive substances, making them more durable and suitable for various applications where corrosion is a concern.
- Q: had to take the doors off and the plastic tube got cut. or does it just pull off? anyways is it gunna leak if we try to turn it on? when i put the door back on? i stuffed the tube from the door into the bottom hinge nipple. it's only got ice in the door not water. so that's a drain tube?
- Your ok unless u have the water dispenser in the door. when u press it the relay or valve in back will shoot water out the other broke hose not the end u plugged coming from the door. u can buy a splice or coupling for pennies. Look under there u probably just pulled the connection loose. push the two ends back together.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for vacuum systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for vacuum systems.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for marine applications?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for marine applications. Plastic tubes are often made from durable and corrosion-resistant materials such as PVC, polyethylene, or nylon, which can withstand the harsh marine environment. They are commonly used for various marine applications including plumbing, water transfer, electrical wiring protection, and as part of marine equipment and systems. Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight, easy to install, and cost-effective, making them suitable for marine applications.
- Q: i recently rescued a fish tank from a house move which had 3 gold fish and the fish are fine but the pump is missing a lengh of tubs for the air bubbles i have been looking around for a replacement tube but was wondering is the pipe on the motor is a standard size as as i dont know how to measure it i have seen some tubing from OKorder but i rather check first as i dont want to buy the wrong one the fist tank is a Marina Cool 21L Blue the tank was also missing a light which i recently purchased a Marina LED Light Unit the motor works fine as long as the air intake is just above the water line the pipe is about 1/2 inch in lengh the motor is submersable any advice would be greatly appericated stephen
- using standard size plastic tubing like other air pumps on the market (about 5-6mm in diameter)
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for hydroponic systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for hydroponic systems. In fact, they are commonly used as a cost-effective and efficient option for delivering nutrient-rich water to the plants' roots in hydroponic setups. Plastic tubes are lightweight, easy to clean, and resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for circulating water and providing necessary nutrients to the plants in a hydroponic system.
