- I always wash anything new before we use or wear it. Washing removes any chemicals that might be left over from the manufacturing process that might be irritating. Personally, I'm sensitive to the sizing (makes the fabrics stiffer) that they use in some things and I wash everything rather than itch. The fibers will be much nicer, softer, fluffier in the sheets if you wash them before use also. The comforter should be dried on low heat with a couple of tennis balls (clean, please) in the dryer. The tennis balls will help fluff up the stuffing in the comforter. And you can partially dry the comforter and then hang it outside also.

- If its just a see-through sticky plastic film that's like a giant see-through sticker covering the surface of the pick guard, it's been put there to protect the finish on the pick guard when it's in a shop or being transported. It's meant to be taken off cos it's just there to keep things clean until somebody buys it. It won't affect the guitar if you leave it on, cos I bought a Les Paul and after a few weeks I taught the pick guard paint was blistering but when i pulled at it....It was a protective plastic sticker that Gibson had put on it.

- can and it very easy. melted the plastic on the temperature 105°C to 138°C (depending on the type of plastic used) then moulded by the colded mold (so that the plastic is not attached to the mould)
