- Q: My computer running XP as made my control panel just dissapear. I tried going to run and typing control.exe and it says This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. I am the adminitrator!!!! I have Windows one care and it also keeps popping up with trojans that I tell it to clear all. Then it says successfully removed then pops right back up with the same trojan detected??? What gives?? I contacted Microsoft and waiting for a response. Any help would be awesome thank you.
- Use PVC reducers and/or bushings to get from the larger pipe to 1/2. Get a can of primer to use with the PVC cement (first clean the pipe fittings w/ primer, then glue).

- The hook-up connection you are trying to solve should be used for draining or venting only. I am not privy to your application or your local plumbing code. If you are using this connection for venting or draining you can connect these pipes together using a flexible coupling. Made of black, hard rubber it adapts and is tightened with (2) hose-clamps. If one or the other outside diameters vary somewhat, the coupling can be worked onto the pipe with a little elbow grease. FYI; I did find a special reducing fitting coupler for this problem but an order would have to be at least one dozen so I disregarded. If you would like to pursue my suggestion for the proper hook-up using the:flexible coupling, I suggest visiting a major hardware store or plumbing store. Best to Ya!

- I have fixed this many times, it is one of two things, most likley the first, it needs to be vaccumed or blown out because of dust build up, if that dose not work, it needs to be replaced. as well depending on the age of the smoke detector, it should simply twist off its mounting brachet, and unplug. even after that, it might still beep due to the new battery, so chuck it somewhere it can't be heard for your own sanity.

- Sounds like an oil seal! Could be the main seal at the shaft or just a gasket going bad. Have you tried searching youtube videos for information? This can be a big help. Order yourself a repair repair manual that you can refer too. That would be the first thing I suggest if your going to do it yourself. You might even be able to find some repair images right here online. So your leaving a red transmission fluid not a black oil correct? If it's black and between the engine and tranny it could be a main seal there.

- Cliff C had the dumbest answer on the market to date. If its actually pvc and not cpvc, cut out the section leaking and primer, glue, rplace. Ms lil bed rock is spot on in saying cpvc is totally diff. Different primer(usually clear) diff glue (orange). Set time for cpvc also tkes longer before H2O pressure can be applied

- i'm sorry you feel like this, and don't take this as an offense but you're over reacting. unfortunately even thought your husband hadn't lived through this, not all guys react the same when they're gonna have a baby, some guys only feel attached to the child until he/she is born, that doesn't mean they wouldn't love the kid, they just have a different process of emotions. so that could have been your guy. - What's the amount of taper thread you want? This is really a bad amount. Taper pipe threads are specified: within the range of the effective thread length, there is any place that meets the requirements (as you say, NPT1/2), because the pipe threads are sealed with little depth. Only a few teeth used for sealing, but the thread specification according to the requirements, for example, you say NPT1/2-14, then the pitch is 1/14 inches, in addition, the effective thread in a certain position must be the nominal diameter of 1/2 inch.
