- Q: I have a long flexible 1 plastic tube that is attached to itself forming a closed circuit and I'd like to add an electric blower to it to flow air continuously that will make a small ball go around continuously. I'd like to splice the blower into the 1 plastic tube but need to know where or how to exhaust the air to keep the air circuit moving continuously in one direction.
- You can't place the blower in-line, as that will block the ball unless you have a specially built blower so that it can allow the ball to pass through the blower You need an arrangement that is something like a jet pump used for pumping water. The blower needs to be big enough (needs to move sufficient air volume) such that the amount of air in the tube is a relatively small fraction of the total air being moved by the blower. The blower needs to be connected to the main loop via a wye. A second wye, oriented in the opposite direction allows air to exhaust from the loop. A trap (parallel bars in the wye) is necessary to keep the ball from exiting the wye. The cross-sectional area of the loop between the wyes needs to be large enough so that you don't produce back pressure on the loop due to the blower's pressure. It is going to take some fussing around with the diameter of the loop between the two wyes and with the outlet diameter of the exhaust to get it right. Think of a loop with a line tangent to the loop and connected to the loop. Your blower is at one end of the line and the exhaust is at the other end. All you are doing is blowing air past the air that resides in the line, dragging those air molecules along with the velocity of the air being injected by the blower. A small fraction of the air will circulate around the loop and will carry the ball with it.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for aquariums?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for aquariums. They are commonly used for various purposes such as connecting filters, air pumps, and other equipment to the aquarium. However, it is important to ensure that the plastic tubes used are safe for aquatic life and do not release any harmful substances into the water.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for electrical insulation?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for electrical insulation.
- Q: Where des this charge come from? Why don't we see a charge on the fur or wool?
- while something is rubbed with something else what comes into play is Frictional electrical energy . there is something called the paintings function it fairly is the minimum potential required via the electrons on the exterior to circulate away it . So if Fur and rubber are rubbed in accordance to the ques rubber rod will become negatively charged hence fur might desire to be dropping electrons hence , btw utilising molecules doesnt appear as if a stable theory to me so , in accordance to me C is the final answer .
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to carbon fiber tubes in terms of strength?
- Carbon fiber tubes are generally stronger than plastic tubes. Carbon fiber has a higher tensile strength and stiffness, making it more resistant to bending and breaking under stress. Plastic tubes, on the other hand, are more flexible and less rigid. However, specific comparisons depend on the type of plastic used and the specific application requirements.
- Q: Can the rusty iron pipe be sawed off and connected to the plastic tube?
- If you do not consider late, you can, but if you take into account the use of the latter, it is best not to affect the future maintenance of water quality, safety and other issues
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for cosmetic packaging?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for cosmetic packaging.
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tubes in terms of durability?
- Plastic tubes and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tubes are essentially the same thing, as PVC is a type of plastic. Therefore, there is no significant difference in terms of durability between plastic tubes and PVC tubes. Both materials are known for their durability and ability to withstand various environmental conditions.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for craft projects like DIY lamps?
- Yes, plastic tubes can definitely be used for craft projects like DIY lamps. They are versatile, lightweight, and easy to work with, making them ideal for creating unique and creative lamp designs. Additionally, plastic tubes come in various sizes and colors, allowing for endless possibilities and customization in your craft projects.
- Q: I got A LOT of clear plastic tubing, (like EVERY size!) and I wanted to know if I could make a craft or something with it. I would like to make a gumball machine, but I searched forever and I couldn't find anything with plastic tubing. Do you have anything I can make? I can also go to the store and buy something (within reason of price) to make it! (it would be awesome if you could tell me by 3PM central today, because that's when my 10-year-old cousin is coming over and she loves crafts!) Thanks!
- A bracelet could be made if you can find something to insert into the two end to join them together. They can be filled with all sorts of items mini jawbreakers, water and glitter, semi precious stones from the craft store, small shells, coloured sand, you get where I'm going, right? Hope you have fun!
