- Q: i got water leakin on the driver floorboard and i figured it was the drain tube but i cant find it to save my life. anybody have an idea? any help is appreciated. thanks
- OMG we spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the one on a Galant. Look under the dash on the driver's side towards the center up by the front firewall. Up and above to the right of the gas pedal. The left side of the big black plastic airbox is hopefully right there, if it's not covered up in trim panels, and there is the black plastic elbow tube coming from the box then bending forward through the firewall. Use that point of reference to go on the engine side and try to find it poking through the firewall. It only sticks out maybe 1/4 of an inch. Might be some metal hydraulics in the way. Probably a full arm length down, and that's with you draped over the car. It's a nightmare to get at, but it's doable once you find it and then find a way to snake your arm in from underneath. I used a long plastic tube taped to the blow tip of an air compressor and fed it in to the drain tube. Some people say stick a wire in , but I found the 90 degree bend in the tube on the inside made that worthless.
- Q: I broke off the little plastic part on my oil dipstick in the oil dipstick tube. How can i get it out? My dips?
- If the metal part of the stick isn't within reach, the tube may be removable? Usually you remove the bolt holding the tube, then the only thing holding it should be the o-ring. I'd have to look at it, I can't see much from here.
- Q: What are the common diameters of plastic tubes?
- The common diameters of plastic tubes can vary, but some standard sizes include 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, and 1 inch.
- Q: My house is two floors, though I think it was originally a one-story cape cod, and the upstairs was a single semi-second floor/attic. Anyways, the attic is now higher up, but the walls still slope on the sides. The air/heating unit is in the crawl space, duct work runs directly to vents/returns on the first floor, but for the second floor there are these two really large plastic(?) pipes that run up to the second floor from which I believe the ductwork is distributed. What are these called?
- Vertical duct work. In general, if forced air, heated, cooled or even unconditioned, goes through it it is called duct work, unless it is an accessory / fitting such as a grille, diffuser, register etc. It's called duct work or vertical duct work if you would like.
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to impact or pressure?
- Plastic tubes can vary in their resistance to impact and pressure depending on the type of plastic used and the specific design of the tube. Some plastic tubes are designed to be highly resistant to impact and pressure, while others may be more prone to cracking or deformation under these conditions. It is important to consider the intended application and choose a plastic tube that meets the required level of impact and pressure resistance.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for DIY crafts?

Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight, affordable, and come in different sizes and colors, allowing for endless creative possibilities.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for hydroponic lines?

They are commonly used as a cost-effective and durable option for delivering nutrient-rich water and solutions to the plants in a hydroponic system. Plastic tubes are flexible, easy to install, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for various hydroponic applications.
- Q: How are plastic tubes filled with liquids or semi-liquids?
- Plastic tubes are typically filled with liquids or semi-liquids using a variety of methods such as gravity filling, vacuum filling, or using specialized filling machines. These machines are designed to accurately and efficiently fill the tubes with the desired substance while ensuring proper sealing and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for use in the electronics industry?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for use in the electronics industry. They are commonly used for various applications such as cable management, protection of wires and components, and insulation. Plastic tubes offer flexibility, durability, and resistance to heat, chemicals, and moisture, making them an ideal choice for electronic devices and systems.
- Q: Why plastic tubes against UV radiation?
- The question is a bit out of the questionNot all plastic tubes are protected against UV radiationIn the process of processing plastic pipes, if you join the "anti UV absorber" such as UV-531, then you will have this function
