- Why not stop by your local department stores gift wrapping department and ask them for their left-over tubes? (The tubes they have are the ones inside their roles of wrapping paper which are the perfect size for ferrets...I know, I have some myself. hehe) You will sort of look like an idiot asking the employees for them but what the heck!! Put on your best smile and ask. They are free AND they were just going to throw them out anyway. And if this makes you feel better, I used to work at a department store when I was much younger and people would ALWAYS come in and ask for empty boxes and cardboard. Its fairly common. ;)

- What they mean by sterile is that when they were produced they were either put under a UV light or place in a high temperature vat. So by the time they are place in the packaging they are sterile. When you open the package it is up to you to keep the environment that you are working in sterile. When the caps are tight, it should be an air tight seal lowering the change of contamination.
