Q: If I give someone power of attorney to my banking and other financial institutions, can I specify what accounts that person has access to. I only want my power of attorney to have access to certain bank accounts, not all of my bank accounts. Is there any way to do that?: first thing, you should not give any kind of power of attorney for the banking accouts and financial records!!! It will harm your reputation and wealth.!!!

Q: I have a bank of 10 flash caps all rated at around 300v and about 160 mF apiece. How do I charge this?: A DC power supply that can deliver about 290 volts (NOT over 300 volts) will do that. A series power resistor based on the current output of the supply will limit the peak charging current to a safe value. For example, a voltage doubler from the 120 VAC line will deliver 330 volts DC. If you can find a transformer with a 200 volt 1 amp secondary, that will produce about 280 VDC. A 100 ohm power resistor in series will limit the current to 3 amps. Peak power in the resistor would be 1000 watts. Resistors in this capacity are very expensive. I'd try 3 120 volt 200 watt light bulbs in series instead. Under that setup, charge time will be: time constant is 100x10x0.16 160 seconds, and several time constants will get you charged up. EDIT, I'm taking your word on the caps size, and the above calculations reflect that. But I think they are actually 160?F, not 160mF. The latter would be much too large to fit in a cameral. Capacitor manufacturers tend to use m when they mean ? for some reason lost in history. In that case, the series resistor need only be a 500 ohm 50 watt unit and the charge time will be a few seconds. .

Q: Can a small scale wind generator power enough batteries to power a 5 ton air conditioner? And if it can, how large of a battery bank would I need, and would a 220 power converter be good enough.: gee, kind'a hard to tell. is there any wind? how strong? all day? or just part of the day? what do you consider a small scale wind generator? does your AC use 110 or 220 power? (it might uses both. although 5 ton isn't all that large.) where are you going to put this? how are you going to anchor it? is it allowed where you live? are you going to have an alternate power source for when there is no wind? in which case, have you looked at what it takes to hook up to the power grid? maybe you ought to talk to someone around where you live about this.

Q: hi, I need help with my bank account. Me and my hubby opened a second account, it is under his name, but he left me in charge of it, I was SIPPOSED to be added to the account, however the lady made some msitakes. He had also ordered a bank card, it has been a month and 2 weeks since the order date. And because I am not on the account I cannot recieve any info. he is now in bootcamp, and it will be about till late jan when he comes home. How could I get added to the account if he is not here? Q: i am traveling to tw. would like to know in taipei where is the spot to get cash from ATM. also would like to know if the power outlet configuration in taiwan is the same as that in the US. thank you.: Yeah, the power outlets are the same as the US, so you dont really need to worry about that. The 2 plug type is more common, so you might need to bring a converter for the 3 prong type. Citibank has branches through out Taiwan, so if you find some Taiwan banks' atm not working, you can probably go to a Citi atm. Just be aware that you might encounter some fees from either the bank atm you are using and/or your bank.

Q: Does anyone know how solar works in plain English. .I bought 5 - 500 watt outdoor lamps for my yard that i would like to run off of solar power but im not finding an answer on how many or what type of solar panels to get or how many batteries and what kind.
