Usage of Portable Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher
1Pull the Pin at the top of the extinguisher. The pin releases a locking mechanism and will allow you to discharge the extinguisher.
2Aim at the base of the fire, not the flames. This is important - in order to put out the fire, you must extinguish the fuel.
3Squeeze the lever slowly. This will release the extinguishing agent in the extinguisher. If the handle is seleased, the discharge will stop.
4Sweep from side to side. Using a sweeping motion, move the fire extinguisher back and forth until the fire is completely out. Operate the extinguisher from a safe distance, several feet away, and then move towards the fire once it starts to diminish.

They do have micro bolometers like the Flir Lepton that can read temperature, so maybe a 97.8 degree reading equals a human.

- What this has to do with was two years or so ago OSHA came out against some oil based products that contain high amounts of certain chemicals in plastics and vinyl. There were a lot of baby bottles and water bottles recalled among other things and now products that might contain high levels of certain oil based products with high levels of those chemicals have to carry a warning. Your gloves probably are or have some vinyl parts to them and I suspect that is the reason. Some states have adopted stricter standards in regards to this and California is one of them.

Either a handyman that has electrical experience or an electrician can install your smoke alarm. You might opt to go with an electrician and have them check all your electrical while there at it, if they charge by the hour and not just the job. Hope this helps.
