1.Description of PVC Pipe :
Material: Virgin Rigid PVC resin, no recycle material
Process: vacuum forming extrusion
Color: various colors, we can make color according to Panton card No.
Back working procedure: precise length cutting, drilling/slotting/punching, gold stamping, quality inspection, cleaning, assembling, and packing.
Application:construction, home decoration, stationery&toy, advertising, ornament, etc.
Common Feature: high glossy, water proof, damp proof, termite proof, shock proof, fire retardant, Maintenance free, light weight ,easy to install, economical, durability, recyclable

2.Features of PVC Pipes :
1) Small resistance to fluidity: The smooth surface reduces resistance to the fluids. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009, much less than other pipes, Under same discharges, smaller cabibre of the pipe can be uesd.
2) Strong mechanical strength: Good resistance to water pressure, outside impact and pressure, is satisfied under any conditions.
3) Good electrical insulation: excellent insulation nature against electricity. the pvc pipe can be served as conduits and pipes in construction cable and wire.
4) Water quality unaffected: The solution tests on the PVC pipe show no affect on water quality when the water flows through is. It is considered the best piping material for running water works.

Q: For a while the little plastic handle on my car's dipstick has been broken, some of the handle is still on the stick. Today as I was changing my oil I tried to get the dipstick out but couldn't, after some tries I accidentally chipped off a bit of the plastic, causing the dipstick to slide down 1 inch into the tube. I have read that this is not necessarily a problem, but I'm still worried. I tried extracting it by super gluing one end of a small rod to the dipstick but have had no success. How can I extract the dipstick without having to see a mechanic?
better get it out, then
Q: What is the plastic pipe joint of water supply pipe?
This depends on what kind of plastic you use, for example, you want PPR that connector is PPR pipe fittings
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for underground applications?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for underground applications. Plastic tubes are commonly used for various underground applications such as water supply, drainage systems, and underground wiring. They are preferred for their durability, resistance to corrosion, and ease of installation.
Q: puckers? I don't want to waste money on stuff that does. Thanks
Yes i have had that problem alot the padded ones are the only ones that seem to work
Q: Can plastic tubes be easily cleaned or sterilized?
Yes, plastic tubes can be easily cleaned and sterilized. They can be washed with soap and water, and then sterilized using various methods such as autoclaving, chemical disinfection, or steam sterilization.
Q: A 0.596 kg metal cylinder is placed inside the top of a plastic tube, the lower end of which is sealed off by an adjustable plunger, and comes to rest some distance above the plunger. The plastic tube has an inner radius of 7.07 mm, and is frictionless. Neither the plunger nor the metal cylinder allow any air to flow around them. If the plunger is suddenly pushed upwards, increasing the pressure between the plunger and the metal cylinder by a factor of 2.31, what is the initial acceleration of the metal cylinder? Assume the pressure outside of the tube is 1.00 atm. Please answer in m/s^2. Thank you!
Before the sudden push, the net force on the metal cylinder is zero. This means downward force = upward force p0 A + m g = p A, where p0 is atmospheric pressure, p the pressure of the trapped air, m the mass of the metal cylinder, g the acceleration due to gravity and A the inner cross sectional area of the plastic tube. If the pressure p is momentarily increased to 2.31 p, then there is a net upward force of magnitude Fnet_up = 2.31 p A - p0 A - m g = 1.31 p0 A - 1.31 m g This net force gives rise to an acceleration that obeys Newton's second law: m a = Fnet m a = 1.31 p0 A - 1.31 m g a = 1.31 p0 A /m - 1.31 g = 1.31 * 1.01*10^5 N/m^2 * ( pi * (7.07*10^-3 m)^2 ) / 0.596 kg - 1.31 * 9.81 m/s^2 = 22.0 m/s^2
Q: the tubing , on the door, where water depenses is cracked. how do I replace the tubing?
Wow! Are you wanting to replace all the tubing inside the door? This can be a very difficult if not impossible job to accomplish. There are countless components that require removal to expose all the tubing for replacement. Although you just ask about the door, the tubing going to the icemaker is embedded in the permanent foam insulation in the cabinet casing. It is also installed in the foam inside the door. They do this to prevent the water inside the tubing from freezing. Most water dispensers are located in the freezer side door. If you just want to replace the short stub of tubing that the water passes through at the dispenser, you should be able to cut off the part that is cracked or split and glue a short food grade piece of tubing on to it using food grade adhesive (available at restaurant supply stores). (Use a short collar of the next larger diameter tubing to join the two pieces. Also available at the supply store.) Good luck!
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for hydroponic lines?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for hydroponic lines. They are commonly used as a cost-effective and durable option for delivering nutrient-rich water and solutions to the plants in a hydroponic system. Plastic tubes are flexible, easy to install, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for various hydroponic applications.
Q: Sooo...i'm having some trouble here. I have about 3000 feet of plastic tubing (that looks a lot like the rubber tubing you'd see in a lab). Thats all i know about it.....and i need to find the right sized pump to get 2 gpm of water. Its 1/2 inch diameter tubing. Any sort of estimate would be nice.......trying to make sure i don't get a pump to weak. But don't wanna go to overboard (limited funds). thanks
Take a look at friction loss table on the Internet. I saw one table that said 1.55 psi per 100 feet, and another that said 3.8. In fire sprinkler work, we use tables derived from the Hazen-Williams formula. I don't have a table that goes that low on flow. A search for Hazen-Williams will get you to the formula. You will want to use the actual ID or the tube. It may be different from the nominal ID. For a roughness factor you could use 140.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for insulation purposes?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for insulation purposes. They can be used to cover and protect wires, pipes, or other objects to prevent heat loss, condensation, or electrical shorts. Plastic tubes offer good insulation properties and are lightweight, flexible, and easy to install.
