Q:instead of using ridgid conduit can polytubing or irrigation vinil pipe be used as an option or cable can just run bare on concret on a house been build up of concret wall in and out ?
In my years of experience, and inspector will fail that in a heartbeat. The Irrigation tubing is not made to run wires through, and the wire could get caught on the tubing , and the wire could dig into the tubing as it is soft and pliable. Also, when you pour your concrete on top of the tubing, the tubing will flatten with the weight of the concrete, causing you to have to remove the concrete to make any repairs to the wire. Defeating the purpose of using conduit in the first place. Use the gray PVC non-metallic conduit, the fittings and the pipe are designed to have wires run through them, and the conduit will not crush under the weight of the concrete poured over it. If you are going to do the job, do it right, and you will save money in the long run.
Q:Im thinking that i want to give my betta more space. Im thinking of using some type of plastic tube, cutting a hole in his plastic bowl, cutting a hole in another plastic bowl and connecting with the tube, then connecting the tube to the bowls with aquarium silicone. One will be the flat on two sides one, but his current one his round. Will this safely work? I can only imagine cleaning it, it will be so much harder. I just need answers on this, no fish care responses etc. if you do i will report you for not answering what i asked.
report me, for not answering what you wanted lol idc
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for solar panel installations?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for certain aspects of solar panel installations, such as protecting and routing electrical wiring or as a conduit for water or coolant circulation. However, plastic tubes are not typically used as the primary material for the solar panels themselves, as they lack the necessary properties to efficiently convert sunlight into electricity.
Q:Are plastic tubes suitable for plumbing applications?
Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for plumbing applications. They are commonly used for various plumbing purposes such as drainage, waste disposal, and water supply. Plastic tubes offer several advantages including flexibility, corrosion resistance, and ease of installation. Additionally, they are cost-effective and have a longer lifespan compared to traditional metal pipes.
Q:So, I went to the dentist today to get my teeth checked out. The oral surgeon said I need two teeth pulled out, but I need to be knocked out cuz it's so bad. He said the way he's gonna do it, is by putting an IV in (scared of needles:( ) and then I asked my mom and she said they were gonna take the needle out and keep a little tube in there? I'm really confused about this. Help please.
And they do this procedure SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!!!!!!! YOU'LL BE FINE!!!!!!!
Q:What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the industrial packaging industry?
There are several advantages of using plastic tubes in the industrial packaging industry. Firstly, plastic tubes are lightweight and durable, making them easy to handle and transport. They are also resistant to impact, moisture, and chemicals, ensuring the safe storage and transportation of goods. Secondly, plastic tubes offer excellent barrier properties, protecting the contents from environmental factors such as oxygen, light, and UV radiation. This helps to maintain the quality and freshness of the products inside. Additionally, plastic tubes can be customized in terms of size, shape, and color, allowing for branding and product differentiation. They can also be easily printed with labels or instructions, providing valuable information to end-users. Furthermore, plastic tubes are cost-effective compared to other packaging materials. They require less energy and resources to produce and can be recycled, reducing environmental impact. Overall, plastic tubes provide convenience, protection, customization, and cost-effectiveness, making them a preferred choice in the industrial packaging industry.
Q:I have a pond pump and standard aquarium plastic tubing. I will be drilling tiny holes in equal increments throughout the tubing to release the air. Is there an equation to show the air pressure that will be released through the holes? I would like to know how many holes I need and how far to space them to achieve a certain amount of air pressure to be released from a specified length of tubing. This is a test and will not be done under water. A simple diffuser will not work for this application.Ideally I would like a formula where I can input the following and get a result:Tube LengthTube DiameterPump PSITube Hole SizeTube Hole QuantityTube Hole SpacingResultAirflow per Tube HoleAny help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information please let me know.Thank you,
Well, I suppose it could be done, but you would need the pressure at each hole, which is decreasing as the tube length and water depth. And you have so many variables! I also like to calculate such things as you are doing, but this is really over the top! Here is what I would do; Get a measured paper cup (say 1 cup, or 1/4 litre). Experiment with various sizes and number of holes in your tubing, then hold the cup over the coiled tubing, under water at required depth, with air pump running. Measure the time to fill the inverted cup with air. If a 1/4 litre container fills with air in 15 seconds (1/4 minute), you know you are getting 1 litre per minute. Then try other hole configurations to get what you want. This would be more fun, more practical, and will give bettter results. Good luck Bill
Q:Are plastic tubes suitable for packaging household products?
Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for packaging household products. They offer durability, flexibility, and are lightweight, making them ideal for a wide range of products such as creams, gels, liquids, and even powders. Plastic tubes also provide excellent protection against moisture, air, and contaminants, ensuring the quality and longevity of the packaged products. Additionally, plastic tubes are convenient for consumers, as they are easy to use, dispense the product efficiently, and can be easily recycled.
Q:I get loads of plastic tubes of mini eggs at easter, and they just get thrown away. What could i make out of them?
I don't think you can really do anything with them. Instead of throwing them away, just recycle them.
Q:Also when a cell is hypertonic to its environment does that mean the environment is hypotonic to the cell?
If the tube shrinks, water must be going out of the tube, and this must be occurring because there is a concentration gradient across the tubing. However, both sides start with distilled water, so the water on both sides should have the same (low) amount of dissolved substances. Presumably the shrinkage is occurring over a period of hours or days? My guess would be that something is getting into the water in the cup - this could be dissolved matter from floating dust or bacteria, but more likely are gases from the air. Distilling water would degas it - oxygen, nitrogen, and CO2 would be removed. However, these gases, most significantly CO2, will redissolve in the water if it is left in air (carbon dioxide dissolves to make a solution of carbonic acid). In addition, any contaminants that persisted through the distillation would be concentrated when the cup water evaporates, though this is likely to be a small change due to the high purity of distilled water. You are correct about your second question.
