- Q: I have a long flexible 1 plastic tube that is attached to itself forming a closed circuit and I'd like to add an electric blower to it to flow air continuously that will make a small ball go around continuously. I'd like to splice the blower into the 1 plastic tube but need to know where or how to exhaust the air to keep the air circuit moving continuously in one direction.
- You can't place the blower in-line, as that will block the ball unless you have a specially built blower so that it can allow the ball to pass through the blower You need an arrangement that is something like a jet pump used for pumping water. The blower needs to be big enough (needs to move sufficient air volume) such that the amount of air in the tube is a relatively small fraction of the total air being moved by the blower. The blower needs to be connected to the main loop via a wye. A second wye, oriented in the opposite direction allows air to exhaust from the loop. A trap (parallel bars in the wye) is necessary to keep the ball from exiting the wye. The cross-sectional area of the loop between the wyes needs to be large enough so that you don't produce back pressure on the loop due to the blower's pressure. It is going to take some fussing around with the diameter of the loop between the two wyes and with the outlet diameter of the exhaust to get it right. Think of a loop with a line tangent to the loop and connected to the loop. Your blower is at one end of the line and the exhaust is at the other end. All you are doing is blowing air past the air that resides in the line, dragging those air molecules along with the velocity of the air being injected by the blower. A small fraction of the air will circulate around the loop and will carry the ball with it.
- Q: How do plastic tubes perform in high-temperature environments?
- Plastic tubes may not perform well in high-temperature environments as they have lower heat resistance compared to other materials such as metal.
- Q: Glass surfaces are negatively charged, and when blood is collected in a clean glass test tube, it clots. Explain this observation.
- it doesnt matter if it's glass or plastic. Once exposed to air (oxygen) the blood will clot unless it's been treated with an anticoagulant like EDTA, heparin, or sodium citrate. That's why these test tubes have anti coagulant in them. The tubes themselves can be glass or plastic, it doesn't matter. No anti-coagulant = clot anti-coagulant = no clot.
- Q: What is the average lead time for manufacturing plastic tubes?
- The average lead time for manufacturing plastic tubes can vary depending on factors such as quantity, complexity, and the manufacturer's production capabilities. However, it typically ranges from a few days to a few weeks.
- Q: What is that white plastic tube (usually made of wires inside) made of? PVC?
- TPEE---- has the elasticity of the rubber and engineering plastics and rubber strength, compared, it has better processing performance and longer service life; compared with the engineering plastics, also has the characteristics of high strength, better flexibility and dynamic mechanical properties.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for hydrostatic testing?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for hydrostatic testing.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for pet food packaging?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for pet food packaging. They are commonly used for packaging various types of products, including pet food. Plastic tubes offer durability, flexibility, and can be easily customized to meet specific packaging requirements. They provide a convenient and efficient way to store and dispense pet food, ensuring its freshness and quality.
- Q: I've heard about crop feeding but the website im learning it from suggest that i don't crop feed if i'm not experienced, instead i should just mix the formula, and put it directly into the pigeons mouth. But how do i do this? i know that sounds stupid, but this baby is 2 weeks old and i want to make sure that i do this correctly.thanks
- If you don't have a syringe you can use a baby spoon. Just feed him like you would a human baby slow and wipe his little beak and feathers.
- Q: What's the function of wax in PVC plastic pipes?
- The joint is lubricated and sealed when joined.
- Q: How do you cut plastic tubes to size?
- To cut plastic tubes to size, you can use a few different methods depending on the thickness of the tube and the tools available. Some common techniques include using a hacksaw, a PVC pipe cutter, or a utility knife. It's important to measure and mark the desired length accurately before cutting, and to apply steady pressure while cutting to ensure a clean and straight cut.
