- Q: How are plastic tubes labeled with barcodes?
- Plastic tubes are labeled with barcodes by using barcode labels or stickers that are specifically designed for plastic surfaces. These labels are usually made of durable materials, such as polyester or polypropylene, and have a strong adhesive backing to ensure they stay attached to the tube. The barcode information is printed onto the label using thermal transfer or direct thermal printing technology. This allows for accurate and scannable barcodes that can be easily read by barcode scanners or other automated systems.
- Q: PLZ ANSWER
- depends on the use and application. would you prefer orange juice or lemon juice ? depends on your taste...... same thing. so it depens on many thing : cost, fluid to flow, medium temp, pressure, humidity, load type and so on .... good luck.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for medical device manufacturing?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for medical device manufacturing. They are commonly used in various medical applications such as catheters, IV lines, and respiratory tubes due to their flexibility, durability, and compatibility with sterilization processes. Plastic tubes can be customized to meet specific requirements and are cost-effective compared to other materials. Additionally, they offer excellent biocompatibility and can be manufactured to be resistant to chemicals and bacteria, ensuring patient safety.
- Q: The dishwasher behind my bar at work has a leak. The pipe that's leaking is Parker Parflex PP 3/8 plastic tubing that connects into a metal nut and brings clean water in. The pipe has a leak exactly where it meets the nut, so in theory I could cut off the cracked portion and then re-seal it to the nut. Can I cut it with wire cutters? Should it be sanded after I cut it? Do I use a teflon sealant? Thanks for any help!
- That should be a compression fitting. If it's a brass fitting then they are one time use. You can get a new brass fitting, cut the PP tube clean with a knife or a razor blade - be careful not to cut yourself please, then install the nut over the tube, slip the compression ring over the tube and if there's an insert that goes inside the PP, insert that. Then push the hose into the fitting and slide the nut and ring to the threaded portion of the fitting and tighten it. Be careful to tighten it enough to seal but not so tight you cut through the pipe again. It's likely the reason you have the leak in the first place is because someone overtightened it. OR you can simply buy a replacement hose. I'd prefer a wire braid shielded pipe. Stronger and made with a professional fitting on the end, one you don't have to mess with. My opinion, replacing the tube is the better idea. And they're not stupidly expensive either. Good luck with your project. '')
- Q: Okay this is a really horrifying scenario and I'm panicking. I have two 6 weeks old baby alexandarine parrots. I feed them by hand through a syringe. I attach a small rubber tube at the end of the syringe and feed them slowly. However as I was just feeding one, the tube got loose and is now stuck in the parrot's throat. I'm very worried. I can't go to a vet as there is no avian vet in our area. What should I do? Please Please help!! I'll be really thankful.
- Go to your reg vet they can help you other wise the birds little throat may get to dry from having the mouth open all the time.
- Q: I got a new syrian hamster two and a half days ago, he has a big wire two storey cage with plastic tubes connecting the upstairs and downstrairs, he's spent mostly all of his time in the tube, taking all the bedding from his little house and his food in it and pooing a lot, I mean the tube is full of poo mixed with food and bedding. (I know this is normal) he's still really shy, he spooks easily, and he's not even been on his wheel yet but he's slowly coming around to me when I hand feed him, I haven't touched him yet though, just leaving him to it for a few days. Should I clean his tubes or is it too early? I don't want to stress him out but I read you are supposed to clean his cage every week and spot clean and clean his toilet area every day and his tubes are his toilet area and I'm seriously not joking when I say he poos a lot.
- I think that you should probably clean it out. Do it at night when he is not in the tubes so you do not disturb him. My hamster sleeps in an attachment that goes on the tubes and she does the same thing with the food, pooping, and peeing in there. She loves when I clean it out for her, I do it about every 2-3 days. If I do not clean it out and wait an extra day if I am busy or something she takes all of the bedding out of it and moves it to the regular cage area herself. So yes I do think that you should clean it, he will probably appreciate it!
- Q: Can plastic tubes be transparent?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be transparent.
- Q: We just got my dad an oxygen tank and we need to connect 5/8 tubing to regular (standard) oxygen tubing. Where do I but the part to connect the tubing? Do they even make something to connect the two? If not how would you go about connecting them?
- Their are Home Health Companies that sell Oxygen and supplies. Look in your local Yellow Pages. What you are looking for is a hose barb that fits the Oxygen tubing. A Respiratory Therapy Company should have one or a local Hospital. Check there.
- Q: What is a paintball power tube used for?Im looking into an tippmann A5 power tube Delrin Front Bolt. Whats the difference and benefits. Thanks
- The power tube is the part that holds the valve in the marker and helps direct air flow. Getting a new power tube will do NOTHING to performance. It has no performance valve what so ever. The front bolt is the part that helps push the ball out or the chamber. And getting a new one will help very very lil. So lil that it doesn't really matter. THis is because the stock front bolt on the tippmann markers is made so well that changing it doesn't make it any better because they will perform just about the same. Replacing the stock power tube to a full aluminum power tube is a good idea because after a while the stock plastic power tube does tend to break and when that happens it will cause air or co2 to leak. The aluminum one wont do that and lasts a lot longer.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for water transportation?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for water transportation. They are commonly used for various applications such as irrigation systems, plumbing, and even in some industries for transferring water or other fluids from one location to another. Plastic tubes are lightweight, durable, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for water transportation purposes.
